Customers highly value the Heos 1 HS2 Wireless Speaker's excellent sound quality and ease of use, finding it convenient and portable. However, some users experienced challenges with connectivity and app functionality, citing difficulties with setup and Bluetooth connection. The speaker's small size is also a plus for many.

Bought 5 speakers (3x 1, 5 & soundbar). The 1 stopped connecting after a year and the cost to fix exceeds a new purchase. Obviously planned by Denon. Consistent connectivity problems with all speakers and Denon support is either slow to respond or ignores promps. App is worthless with too many bugs to mention. Using from Spotify app works great, go figure. Definitely don't recommend buying. In fact, this sours me on all Denon products due to engineered disposability and crappy service.

I bought four of these and a Denon receiver. Out of the four speakers, one locked up and had to be hard reset on the first day, one is completely dead, and another one refused to take the firmware update until it was also hard reset. The app has issues with Pandora and will drop room groupings, and the speakers don't sound great for the price point they're at. I'm honestly on the verge of returning the entire system and going a different route. Also the fact that you can't configure these as true surround sound speakers with the Denon receiver is just absurd.

Added these wireless speakers with my Denon soundbar. Not impressed at all. I disconnected them and now they are collecting dust. Will give them a go again at another time...way too complicated set-up.

I have a Heos 7, Heos link, Heos home cinema sound bar and 2 Heos 1. I love the Heos line up but will only give 1 star due to Best Buy customer service. The product title says it is portable. The product specs on this states that it is rechargeable and under battery type it list Lithium-ion. When I received my order it was not the portable model with the battery go pack. Customer service claimed that since a battery wasn't in the what's included that it wasn't supposed to have one. That where it says battery type and rechargable in the PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS just means that is the type you buy. However the AC converter and link cables weren't listed either but they are included. At first they told me I could return it for a refund but It was on sale and I want what I ordered the way it was represented on their website. After a long debate they were going to contact the vendor to reship to see if I got a different product. If they don't make this right I will never make another purchase at Best Buy.

They have a short WiFi range, and the extender only works when plugged into the router - not extending the Range by any means. I've had 2 years with of problems with 6 speakers. You are better off with Sonos or Alexa or Google Home, honestly. Don't bother
