This is been hands down my favorite avr of all owned. Love the Dolby Atmos surround, the overhead channels really add to the experience of movies. Pandora and internet conncetivity is very nice. Im running this 4100 with 2 seperate 2 ch stereo amps. One to power my in ceiling atmos speakers, the second to power a pair of in ceilings in my second zone outside. So far my only complaint would be that its only 7 channels, and will require extra amps. But I already knew that going in, so not really a con. The included android Denon app is very nice for use in the 2nd zone. Auddessey does a amazing job correctting the sound, really enjoy this feature.

The feature set and the free Denon remote app are awesome. I do not like the fact that the upgrade will cost me $200 after paying so much for the unit. I doubt the new unit with upgrade will cost $200 extra. I'm very pleased with the setup and onscreen guidance. We plugged everything in and turned the unit on it walked us through the speaker calibration. My wife then started streaming music from her phone. We changed the input to online radio and pulled up some Christmas music. The unit is so easy to use. Love it.

Just Awesome! This receiver has a ton of features. It does get a little warm, but I can handle that. Dolby ATMOS... Price point on this receiver/you can't beat it. This is a winner...

Pretty simple to set up. I am using it in a theater environment. There are a few accesssories for this product but I did not find them very useful for me. It gives a clear and crisp sound and integrated into my Bose speakers well. I live in a condo and the Bose do fine there. It does not overdrive them. I have had switching issues with other systems driving 4K video. No issues here. Just works!

Awesome sound quality. Easy to setup. Perfect balance. Excellent remote. Plenty of power supports multi zone set ups.

This item was purchased to replace a Merantz Receiver that I had bought a couple of weeks prior. The Merantz system was very hard to set up and was buggy (i.e. speakers would randomly come on and off, etc.). Even though this receiver and the Merantz share many of the same features, the Denon receiver was far easier to set up and has been super reliable. Although it sounds great, I do think the Merantz receiver did a slightly better job at Sound Staging (i.e. clarity and sonic detail). Overall I am happy with this unit and can't wait to upgrade my speakers to an Atmos configuration.

Got another Denon through open box and loving every minute of it. Tons of features, more than I will use but the addition of Dolby Atmos makes it that much better .

Son in law has a Denon and likes his and said set up was easy. Microphone calibration of the speakers went well. I purchased this unit with expansion in mind, and as funds become available I'll add to the system to make it 7.1, & multi-room.

I would recommend this receiver to anyone. Very powerful and very easy to set up and use!

I have had a Denon unit for a long time. When the older unit took a dump I went straight for the Denon. I play records so this unit was the right one for me.

Every aspect of audio is covered with this product. Great sound with easy set up. Plenty of gadgets for future set ups and add ons.

The sound and viedo pass through is outstanding! I wish there were 4k content to really see this unit in action.

amazing reliever for that price, but not future proof with hcpd 2.2 for 4k players but I'm not in a rush

This is the receiver that was recommended by the best buy magnolia folks and it is really good. Once I got used to experience Atmos, you can't go back to regular surround sound.

Great sound and much easier to set up than past units. The set up wizard is a great help. SXM works great over the net.
