Designated Survivor is a great suspenseful drama that keeps you riveted.

We love this show and love having the DVD at the ready.

The premise of this series is unlikely: All the dozen or so people who stand to gain the presidency by succession are killed, and a lowly cabinet department head gets the job. In spite of that improbability, this series is fascinating and seems realistic for a number of reasons: Kiefer Southerland's performances are outstanding; the episode details are based in actual law and the Constitution; there are a number for political and criminal intrigues going on. This is the best series about the US presidency that I've seen since "West Wing" and is also a great thriller.

I think that "Designated Survivor" was one of the greatest new series of all-time and it was one of my favorite new series of all-time. I have been a fan of this series and I also think that "Designated Survivor" has a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, drama, mystery and suspense and amazing personal/political storylines as well.

Great premises ! Something actually reasonable. I have a very short list of "presidential actors" and Keiffer Sutherland has joined them. This will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what the next episode brings....like a good book that you can't put down, this is a series that you cannot turn off ! Highly recommended !!!

One of my new favorites! Now into the second season and it's still action packed, controversial, full of surprises and USUALLY well grounded in American values and traditions. If you liked the series 24 you will like this show!

Being an avid viewer of Designated Survivor Season 1 I was excited To purchase the DVD so I could re watch the series. I got a really great price from Best Buy and they had it in stock. I was having trouble locating a copy

Loved the show. Had not gotten so involved in a tv show for quite some time. But this one is a grabber from the first minute. Waiting for epiosde 2.

I have never watched this show on tv before so when I started watching my dvd I was hooked--looking forward to when I can obtain season 2.

Keifer Sutherland is perfect as the independent who becomes President. The actors are all good. The plot has many twists, which keep the viewer engaged.

This is one of the best shows I have ever watched. It is so suspenseful that my stomach hurts from the tension. It is a must see series.

I was glad to see that Best Buy had this series. It came out last year with season 1 and look forward to watching the next season!

In my estimation, this is a perfect example of how government can be effective, without the interference of politicians.

Really the "what if" idea of the president and his staff getting wacked and the "low man" getting the big chair.

Huge fan of the Hunger Games here (I know, what does that have to with this review, right?) but Donald Sutherland as President Snow, and now Kiefer Sutherland as the Designated Survivor? Anyway, good show.
