I read a poor review but that was based on a DOA which can happen to anybody, so it wasn't a fair review of the product. Instead I took the advice of a very savvy associate and went for it. I'm not a gamer but I wanted a machine powerful enough to handle hobby-level video and audio editing. This machine handles it without breaking a sweat. Plenty of FAST ram and processing speed. With HDMI and plenty of high speed USB ports this machine is doing everything I need it to, and more. I couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase this PC.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. Opened the box and tried to set it up before my husband got back from walking the dog only to find the PC would not turn on. Totally blank screen. Called ASUS support but no luck. Had to send it back. I actually bought this computer instead of iBUYPOWERr PC due to the iBUYPOWER poor reviews of DOA machines. Really deserves 1 star but ASUS and Best Buy customer service was not stellar but decent.

Super machine; did I mention fast? Quick internet response, game play always ready and able - love it.

I replaced a ASUS CM6830 with this ASUS G11CD and the new one runs circles around to 6830 even though they have the same Intel I7 processors.

This is a fantastic gaming PC. Although it has a hefty price tag, its a pretty good deal. The 8GB SSD matched with the 2TB HDD allows the computer to start up incredibly fast while allowing for mass storage of games, pictures, videos, movies, etc..etc.. I mainly use this PC for gaming and have thus far had no issues with it as it can run most games on high or ultra, even newish ones such as the graphic heavy Attila: Total War. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that needs a powerful computer capable of doing everyday task, along with Gaming/Editing. You will not be disappointed!
