My old battery lost power. This just come in handy. I have been using it for several years now.

The original battery in the Canon Rebel is so good that you really need to be out shooting a full day to need another, but we frequently find we've forgotten to charge it before heading out for the day. So it's really convenient to have an extra and this one fills that need nicely. It charges very fast and will power that camera all day. Lithium Ion batteries are very different than older NiCad's. With NiCad you want to completely run them down before charging to avoid "memory effect". Lithium Ions work better and last longer if you charge them every time you use them regardless of how much.

This is a great battery. Good to have on hand as a back up when you forget to recharge. Less expensive than the Canon battery and works just as good.

This is a great battery. I'ts cheaper than the canon battery and charges fast and I have used it for over 200 shots at a time

The battery charges quickly and holds charge very well.

I was very happy to buy this battery for my older Canon Rebel at such a low price....which is a back-up to my original.
