Most of the complaints were from people who did not read the manual. I read the manual before using the camera and have had very few problems using it or taking some really fine photos.

Fantastic longevity without memory issues.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Am very surprised at how long 1.battery lasts in shooting mode, 2.how long it lasts in view mode, even using camera as slide show plugged into TV, 3.how long it lasts in standby mode, like sitting in a drawer for awhile between using. 4.how long it lasts in video mode. Constant focusing and zooming chews up a battery quickly. I've recorded a whole concert on one charge! I bought an extra, never had to use it yet.
