It's a battery, it works. The only drawback is that I wasn't sure how to put it in. Is the arrow pointing to the middle of the camera or the edge?

I got several of these for my sony rx100 vi and the camera works fine with them and I also got the sony dsc-hx400v and it performs well in that camera too.

Bought this since I needed it and it was on sale. When I opened the package I noticed the battery had some corrosion on it and a bit of fluid leak. I returned it and went for a replacement I notice the same on the other one. Didn't chance it and ended up buying the original Sony battery instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
