    Not a bad battery at all if you can manage to find a charger that will charge it in stores. Thats what I was initially in for, after discovering that there were no chargers for either the camera nor the battery to the camera, i opted to see if the battery they had MAYBE came charged and alas it didnt but thats not to say it wasnt a good battery.

    I got this as part of a "package" but I later found, at Amazon, an external charger that comes with TWO batteries for about the price of this one. Since it's inconvenient to charge battery in camera, an external charger is a good idea.

    Bought a new camera for our trip to Alaska for 14 days, and remember on a previous vacation that my battery was dead after a days shooting and didn't have a charged back up. That was not going to happen again.
