Overall, a fairly decent entry-level alarm. Has the option to add a remote start feature later if desired. The only faults found is the volume level of alarm siren when installed in a vehicle with a large engine compartment,( I.E. full sized truck) it seems to "suck up" the sound, versus when installed in a vehicle with a small engine compartment ( I.E. small to mid sized car). The alert time seems to slightly vary between units as well ( I have 3 of these units on 3 different vehicles) I feel it should go off for a longer amount of time when tripped( 25-35 seconds at best now ) but overall, a OK unit for the price.

if you need something that is basic this is a great alarm for that.

item was labeled as starter but it was not a starter so we had to return and repurchase another one.

I wanted an affordable security system for my older car. This system was recommended by a stereo shop, but when I found it on BestBuy with free installation, it was a no-brainer. The installation took a long time and I had to go back to have a couple of things adjusted, but it works well and does what I need. A very good bargain and great experience with the installation techs.

It remotely locks the doors, it would be better if it would chirp when it locks the doors.

I purchased this remote entry/alarm system for my daughters cars and they are both very happy. The systems were just the right price and exactly what they needed! The installers were efficient and took the time to explain the system to my daughters. Thank you Best Buy!

A pretty simple alarm and key less entry system for a low end price. The alarm is fully functional and comes with two remotes. The shock sensor can be adjusted to perfect sensitivity but will take a bit of trial and error. This will give you piece of mind if you worry about your car getting stolen by being a deterrent to thieves. This system will chirp with just a light impact to let them know that they better think twice before they act!

My car was broken into two years ago in Downtown. The next day I purchased this alarm. Great alarm for the price and user friendly operation. I didn't spend the extra 100 bucks for the trunk actuator seeing how I still use my factory FOB most of the time to get the dome lights to turn off and deactivate other courtesy features the alarm lock button will not. Has deterred at least three attempts by alarms and other countless ones I am sure just by the LED light showing. The only thing I would change would by the one with the remote start!

Just got my alarm put on today took them a little over an hour to put in but its great. I highly recomend this product its made by Viper so its got the same feautures as the lower end Viper does. best Buy did a great job on the install I will be taking all my vehicles to them from now on

Well it is a Car Alarm that works great. The installer put it in within 3 hours. No fancy bells or whistles or controlling it from your smart phone but it keeps the thieves away =).
