    I picked this up to install a remote start. The tech who suggested this item waa great. The install is scheduled in a few days so I can't rate if it works.

    Ruined Christmas present

    Horrible experience. I was purchasing the product as a Christmas present. I went to 4 different stores looking for this item in stock. The salesman at the 2100 s store advised me it was in stock, sold me the product, made an appointment for installation and charged me for the exchange. After handing me the receipt, I asked where my product was, he then advised me that they didn't have any in-store but everything will be with the tech at the time of installation at their American Fork location and all the vehicle owner had to do is show up to the appointment. This also put me in a predicament that I now did not even have a physical gift to give. On the date of installation, I received a call from the tech saying they did not have the product to install and that if I wanted it done I had to go to a different location, in another completely different town to pick up what I had already purchased from the store in SLC and also different from the store scheduled to do the installation. I was advised by the tech that if we could not get this done in 15 minutes, then the appointment would be cancelled as a no show. Obviously this would have been impossible for me coming from Tooele to have to go to a store in Orem to get a part for an installation in American Fork that I purchased in Salt Lake!. Needless to say, the appointment was cancelled indicating the customer was a "no show" and I then shortly after it was followed up by an email stating if I did not pick up the product soon they were reversing the changes on my card, therefore no Christmas present at all. I made multiple attempts to contact the store but all calls go directly to a phone service that appears to be located in a different country. I was told multiple times that I could not speak with a salesman or manager at the actual location. I wont even go into the hassle it caused for the recipient of the gift to even just pick up the product, it has yet to be installed.
