This is not the best Willie Nelson album ever recorded. This is not the best Merle Haggard album ever recorded. This is honestly not even the best Willie Nelson AND Merle Haggard album ever recorded. However, this is a fun album with some really fun songs. Listening to the album, I got the feeling Willie and Merle were just there to reminisce and have fun playing music together. They accomplished that goal. The title song is truly enjoyable, and "Missing 'Ol Johnny Cash" is a great tribute, with some fun storytelling, to their old friend. Overall, if you are a fan of Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, this is an album well worth purchasing. If you are not, go listen to Pancho & Lefty, THEN make the purchase.

I bought this for my dad who raised me on artists like Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, RUSH, and Johnny Cash. This album is amazing and beautifully put together. We watched all the YouTube videos of the making of "Django and Jimmie" needless to say we listen to this daily and he got 2 copies for work/home.

What can I say Willie Nelson can put out an album of him snoring and I would buy it. If you have not followed his career buy this cd, and if you have you probably have it and know how great it is. Willie Nelson a living legend and a greatest American story teller. Enough rambling I'm about to hit play again.

Well, Willie and Merle! There are times I wonder if buying a new CD is worth it. It's been a long time, Willie and Merle. Could this CD be as great as you're past efforts. Thanks, Willie and Merle! A new favorite CD. This is one that I do not have to pick and choose favorites. I am enjoying the entire CD!

The songs on this CD are GREAT! Several refer to the decades long friendship between Willie and Merle. Went to their concert in Milwaukee, WI and was very surprised this CD was not for sale there. I had purchased it at Best Buy ahead of the concert . Yea Best Buy!

Years of vocal training and experience triumph over aging - Willie and Merle are perfect, together and apart and you'll thoroughly love the unvarnished vocal truths they sing about. No auto tuning for these guys, they'll never need nor accept it. The real deal.

I bought this because my husband wanted to hear the new stuff before we went to the concert. IT IS GREAT! I love the songs that give a nod to Johnny Cash, and all the others really. Another great album put out by two of the greatest!

Willie and Merle have done it again, great music where they alternate lead vocals, Favorite tracks,, It's All Going To Pot and Missin' Ol Johnny Cash.

Willie and Merle are two legendary artists. This cd is a fun listen and it seems like they had fun making it. A worthwhile purchase if you're a fan, or if you'd like to hear two legends at work

Willie, Merle and a few friends have created an album that will fly off the shelves. Will be looking for his next CD to be released later this year.

Love this CD of Willie Nelson - he has not been one of my favorites till this cd came out. The beat is wonderful all songs on this cd are really good

Willie and merle do it again with this new cd, some great new tunes and some old tunes revived with a new twist. A super fun listen.

I love Willie Nelson, and Merle Haggard when they team up together. There are great songs on this album!

Merle and Willie singing about life as it is and was, being honest and also with 'tongue in cheek'.

Nelson and Haggard really come together and produce some special. Highly recommend this to anyone!
