Customers value the Mini 2 Fly More Combo Drone's camera quality, ease of use, and compact size. Many appreciate its surprisingly good range and stability, along with the relatively low price. However, some users wish it had obstacle avoidance and better collision sensors. A few also expressed concerns about the app's user-friendliness and flight time.

Flying ease.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Premium entry level drone. Flying is simple amd easy. The app associated with the device is a little clunky but easy enough to navigate and get up in the air quickly. Photos are high quality. It is a fairly delicate drone, it won't survive very many mishaps.

Best drone ever!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This drone is the perfect option for those who are beginners or people like me who want a quality drone without the higher price tag. My only criticism is the DJI software used to control the drone. The DJI Fly app is free to download and is necessary to control the drone, however, the app is only compatible with a handful of phone models. You need the DJI Fly app to activate the drone the first time you use it. I have a S21 Ultra which is not supported so initially this drone was useless as the app crashes each time I tried opening it. This is a common and known issue that DJI is in no rush to resolve. I used a family member's Galaxy S10 to activate the drone so it could work. After this I purchased a $40 app from the Play store which works without issue. The downside to this is I do not get the features of the DJI app. For a product that costs alot I'd expect the supporting software to work with ALL phones and not just a select few. The reviews online, forums and discussion boards are all critical of the DJI apps for being poorly designed which excludes many high end phone models.

My Favorite Drone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This drone has so many features built into it. I have flown it for one hour total, during several sessions. The Phone App is a little quirky with my Iphone. The App features are definitely not intuitive. The product construction is high quality. I feel the product is a good value. I have taken a lot of time building my skill and confidence on this drone. It is necessary to view UTUBE videos for product knowledge as the instructions are crap!

Gocernment pushed geofencing a deal killer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The geofencong is fristrating to say the least. Autel robotics does not mandate geofencing - although pressure from the IS Govt. Is likely going to being thst in future releases or updates. This fji is decent but i live near an airport so no low flights or even an option to fly indoors for me. Amazing how these policies are infecring every aspect of our day to day lives. Also, the app is jot available on the play store so you have to allow unknown installations on an android device to even obtain the app to control this - no controller options exist as of my writing this review. Once you install the app via the back alley method, then getting the drone connected and responsive is less than intuitive and i have been a tech guy my whole life. Im no steve jobs but i can hold my own in a conversation with him and his peers. Overall for the money here, there is a lot of headaches that should not be an issue, but they are.

Infuriating
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In order to use the drone, the buyer is forced by DJI to use - 100% literally - the WORST iPhone app I have ever used. During takeoff the app will show popups that cover the screen that require you to take both hands off of the remote control in order to dismiss (think reading, scrolling, tiny checkboxes). There are not alternative ways of controlling the drone because DJI do not allow 3rd party apps for THIS DRONE in particular. Other DJI drones do not have this limitation. It is a pity because the hardware is so cool and very well designed. But the user is forced to interact with this through the worst iOS app I have ever used. I would absolutely return this to Best Buy if I weren't two weeks outside the return window. I stuck with the drone for >2 weeks because I thought I just needed to learn the tricks. But every single app / firmware update adds more infuriating restrictions (e.g. right now my drone will not leave a 30m radius of me, because there's a new thing somewhere that I must sign into, which I was notified about only after launching the drone, and the next update will add another sloppily-delivered restriction). It just really sucks. This could be such a cool product, but the software interface is inchangeable and ruins enjoyable flights.

DJI APP NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANDROID
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed in the manufacturer for making this impossible to work with Android phones. After purchasing the DJI app for this version is only available for iPhone users. But at the end of the day I should've seen a small note on the bottom of the box that said "For IPhone". Even after using my wifes iPhone the DJI app still refused to connect with the device. Too many similar issues online and even in the Play Store reviews. So i had to return, good thing i had protection because it would've been a loss
