If you are new to filmmaking and need a stabilizer for those fast motion or action shots. This is right for you. I think it's well worth the price.

I like this camera because it was $600 got a camera and a gimbal. That is a steal to me but as far as quality in video, it just reminds me of my camera on my DJI drone. I'm into music video editing and this could work but I wanted something way sharper with a industry look. I would only use this osmo as a 2nd option camera instead of a primary one.

After using the Osmo a lot for about a week, I can say that it's a great action camera, but has a few flaws. Pros: Nice video quality (both 4k and 1080p) Gimbal stabilizes most motions (slight bobbing when walking or running) Light-weight and portable Easy-to-use controls Full manual control (via DJI GO app) Slow-motion (although the footage is very cropped and noisy) Cons: Terrible low-light performance - very noisy Poor audio quality (although there is an 3.5mm external mic jack) Battery life is mediocre (buy a couple extras) Not waterproof, or anything close (the fan and microSD card are very exposed) Overall, the Osmo feels and works well for what it is. However, you will probably want to buy a few accessories, namely batteries, external mic, tripod, z-axis, etc.

If you are doing Panoramas I think it is good having good light but poor in low light conditions. Stabilizing definitely is good but connecting to the camera through wifi makes impossible to use your own wifi connection for live videos. I really spect more from DJI.

This DJI OSMMO gimbal is pretty good, takes great 4k video as well as 1080.

We wanted a camera that would shoot steady video, to document our motorcycle vacation with.

Quality wise, it's ok for somebody that wants to blog or make YouTube videos strictly in daylight, horrible video in low light , I understand it's not a fully professional camera but for the price just a couple more hundred dollars will get u the the upper tier of cameras like a 6d, 7d or 80d for just a few more hundred.... this would be worth it if the price were somewhere around 160, do not waste 600+ When a little bit more saving will give youa a very impressive camera 10x better that will not lose as much value over the years... now this camera will be worthless in a couple years think about it. I'm so happy I returned it.
