Dr Who...one of the best shows around. Don't miss this one

Doctor who rocks would totally tell people to watch

The storylines hold up well, with good characters.

It's still Doctor Who. A must have for all DW fans.

Love Dr. Who. Seen many versions of the Dr. Great to see change and sad to see someone go.

A great season of Doctor Who on Blu Ray at a great price. I couldn't pass it up.

For those that love Dr Who, this is the disc to get for the Dr's sixth season

I love Doctor Who and this is one of the better recent seasons.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Matt Smith, and his portrayal of the Doctor includes some fine acting. Amy and Rory are two of the most interesting companions as well. But the writing these actors were given is some of the worst ever devised for the series in its over 50 year history. The convoluted story arch that governs this series is so full of plot holes and inconsistencies that the big heart-pounding reveals are actually little more than predictable letdowns. The Doctor deserves better writing, and so do his companions. Buy series seven instead.

I ordered this dvd 3 times and it the disk holders was broken each time! They need a better way to package and mail this.

The system does not save where the play stopped at with the disc. Each time you pause and turn off the player the next time in the disc starts back like it is a brand new disk. This is the first disc I have seen behave this way. I would wait and hope that the menu system is fixed before purchasing.

Had seen entire season already, just Had to have this for the extras which are great, and a sweet bonus of the Christmas episode from 2010. Love the prchase Great Box that it all comes in, Would deffinetly recomend this to friends and anyone out there who has not seen this yet, start watching and you will be hooked.

To those who don't know, Doctor Who is a British Science Fiction series that has become one the world's most popular shows. It is one of the longest running if not the longest running scifi shows of all time. From the early 60s to late 80s and the continuation from 2005 to present. I can not stress enough that even if you are not a scifi genre fan please give this show a chance. It is just enough like the old series for the keep old fans in bliss and different from the old series to make a newer generation die-hard fans. It mixes sometimes goofy (depending on which Doctor) humor, substantial action, and intelligent story to make a truly entertaining series. Few shows can put people in awe. This show put the entire world in awe.

Matt Smith's Doctor is brilliant. It will appear to be a repetitive comment but this is a great season. Production values are great front to back. Image and audio quality are high. There is a plethora of extra features. Doctor Who fans will be quite pleased with this set. If you're not yet a Who fan this set may make you one. Highly recommended.

Like with any season, there are some misses, but most of the episodes are hits with twists and turns to keep you guessing. I struggled last season to care for the Doctor, but this season validates him. The companions also are spot on. I love the bonus features! Must own! Now, off you pop and go watch several episodes!

I would recommed this to a friend if the friend were a Doctor Who fan. This is the weakest season of the current DW run. The season plays too much like a soap opera. What was once a series of episodes leading to an unexpected finale, is now a series about the expected finale without much else of interest going on. The plot of the overarching story arc is much too convoluted and contrived to be really interesting. Still, the chemistry of the main characters remains, and they are still interesting characters. There is the occasional gem of an episode, but that is more the exception than the rule. Many are just there to propel the afore mentioned overarching story arc. As for the extras, the extra bits of story that go on between the episodes is not as good as the last season. The monster files are generally good.

Anything the Doctor is in is great. The fifth series was good but this one is better.

The sixth series is great! But as each series comes to a close we get closer and closer to the regeneration of Matt Smith :(

This purchase made my son's day. He is an avid Dr. Who fan...and the sale price made the entire season affordable!

It was a great buy so I did it the second time. I bought another one as a gift for my friend, a Dr. Who fan. It's a good series for a good price. I definitely recommend it to anyone.
