Great Powerful Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Radeon cards are Fantastic! This one is a beast. My old Radeon HD7700 was a great card, able to still run games pretty well that "Can you run it.com" said I couldn't. Mainly Battlefield 4 =). Now I can run pretty much everything on Ultra settings. It's built for multiple monitors also which is real nice. The only thing I could complain about is that you can't have two of the same video hook ups. It has to be One HDMI, One VGA, and One DVI. But i'm pretty sure most video cards are like this, and since I only use it for two monitors, (HDMI and VGA), this wasn't even an issue. And if I want to do a 3rd, the DVI cable I need is like 6 bucks! So just keep that in mind if you are going to use it for multiple displays! Other than that, Get this card. I got it for $250 and I think its cheaper now, and as it drops it will only become a much better deal!

Powerful!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You name the game and I play it on ultra. Just a powerful card that I've had absolutely no issues with so far. I paired this with 16mb of corsair vengeance ram on an ASUS R2.0 motherboard. After using a coupon I couldn't be happier!

Definitely A Great Card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently built my new computer and was debating on whether to get the Nvidia GTX 760 or the XFX R9 270x... I have to say I'm glad I chose this card after using it for almost a month. It's extremely silent and runs every game I have played on it without a problem. I've been running most games on ultra settings with solid FPS. And icing on the cake is that it came with 5 free good games of your choice. However, I'm not sure if that deal is still going on. Overall, this is a very solid card for the money and it runs games so smooth such as Alien Isolation and Battlefield. Also, the software that you download online is handy too for multiple functions optimizing games, twitch streaming, etc. You can't go wrong with this one.

Best Bang for your buck!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a card that can handle 1080p like no ones business. I've played Dying light, LoL, Heroes of the Storm, H1Z1, Titan Fall, The Sims 4, and Dirt 3 all at max settings getting between 30-60fps. There is no better way to go if you want to save a little money on your rig.

Lived up to expectation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Bought this card in their bestbuy store, and so far it lived up to all my expectation. It has never caused me any problem. I also ran triple monitor setup with this card, with the 4gb of video memory; everything ran fine. Good card and will run most game in high setting.

Be careful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am giving this a two because I'm not sure what the problem was with this installation. On my games i was getting terrible FPS and freezing up. After spending hours and hours of my Christmas break on this card I think you all should know some things. 1. You need to have a power supply, preferably over 600w in your computer that has 2 dedicated 6 pin adapters. You cannot use a 4 pin to 6 pin adapter. I had to buy a new power supply that had dedicated video card pins when I got this card (best buy has the Thermaltake Smart650W which works perfectly). 2. The two video outputs on the back of the card don't mean you can just attach any 2 displays to it. The outputs are DVI-I (which can be converted to VGA with an adapter that comes with the package) and DVI-D, which cannot be converted to VGA with an adapter. Your second monitor has to be DVI-D compatible and if you don't have the DVI-D cable, you'll have to buy one. 3. Do not install the drivers from the disk that comes with the hardware. The disk is terrible. It would not even run setup automatically. I had to go in and try to figure out which files to use which was a big mistake. Go to the company website www.amd.com and install the drivers from there. 4. Make sure your computer is clean of all software you are not using. I am a heavy multimedia hobbyist and my computer was full of old software. You'd be surprised how much of it installs video sound drivers. Clean them out. Also be wary of computer sharing programs like LogMeIn. It installs a video driver on your computer that is known to conflict with a lot of video hardware. 5. If you are replacing another video card, make sure you've gotten rid of all the old card's drivers. These are notoriously hard to get rid of. Using cleaning programs like ccleaner and driver fusion might help. But nothing says you might not have to go into your registry and do some manual deleting. 6. When using this card, you have to log into your computer's bios to tell it to boot to your card and not the mother board card. In the bios, you select 'PEG' to direct it to the PCI Express Card. 7. Finally, if after installation, you are still having problems, you may need to reinstall your programs. Some programs and games get 'upset' by a new video card and you just have to bite the bullet and do a fresh install. I hope this helps. I ended up getting frustrated with this card, and after getting a blue screen of death on my third installation attempt, I took it back to Best Buy who thank heaven above, let me exchange it for an NVIDIA GTX 760. I am a loyal Best Buy customer forever. It turns out i still had gaming issues with the GTX which were only resolved after repairing the game's installation (world of warcraft). I still am a little disappointed for trading 4 Gbs of memory to 2Gb, but I just got frustrated. Hopefully you won't run into the same problems and have a successful install of the AMD R9 270x. Thank you Best Buy for helping me through a tough installation process. You guys were great and understanding... and at every level a terrific company.
