Love the game. Easy controls, nice graphics, A+ game. Even features characters from today's Dragon Ball Super series.

I know that not all Dragon Ball games are good. Some of them just take advantage of the popular franchise. Well, don’t worry about it, this is not the case. This is extremely recommended if you like 2D fighting games and you love Dragon Ball. The amount of characters is insane and the constant references to the original Dragon Ball or the latest episodes are awesome. The game is not easy so get ready to train hard if you want to win! This game is great. It has so many DBZ characters and the fighting takes me back to the Famicom days.

There has or probably will never be a game that can truly capture the battle essence of Dragon Ball. Now that, that is out of the way, Dragon Ball Extreme Butoden is a beautiful game, hand drawn sprites and amazing gameplay. 2D fun for everyone, would have giving it five star if Bandai would stop being lazy on Nintendo side and dub the game next time. ark system works is the best 2D fighting game developers right now.

It has great graphics, lots of characters to choose from, etc, however, it's not super friendly when it comes to gameplay and to do an Ultimate Attack, I have to do a combo first which is not ideal if I want to end the fight in a flashy way.

This is the third time Arc Systems has had a chance to work with awesome third party franchise. The love and attention that went into this game is apparent. From the animation of the main characters to the summoned ones all of Dragon Ball's legacy is on full display. What's even better the game plays sliky smooth on a handheld. You have to own this if you are a DBZ fan, a 3DS fan, or a Fighting game fan.

I was super amped to get this game. I pre-ordered it and applied my dlc pre-order with ease. (it has to be done from within the game, not through the nintendo store) the game itself is pretty easy so far. It does have some combo's that add challenge to the gameplay but they are not needed to progress in the game. The story has multiple modes with a few "what if" scenerios added for pleasure. I've enjoyed them so far. I have not played multi player so i'm sure that's where the difficulty was tucked away to. It plays super well on the new 3ds and looks absolutely gorgeous. I really think that's it's saving grace. Overall, not a super game but still one to play and add to your collection.

Good fighting game for beginners. Love the choice of characters

If this game offered download play, then it would have gotten 5 stars. The gameplay is good, the story in between is fun. If you like fighters and dragon ball z you will enjoy the game.

I thought playing Dragon Ball Z on other systems were cool, but once just starting to play, the graphics were incredible, especially during the high power battles. One other thing I really wanted to try and make my own Avatar to play in the game......Would recommend it to anyone,,,,

This was a gift for my 7 yr old grandson and he absolutely loves it. It keeps him entertained and it's not too violent. If you are a die hard Dragon Ball fan I would say go for it, I doubt you regret it.

Arcade style fighter with several modes of play and story lines to chose from. A challenge to acquire the achievements.

This is a simple fighting game. The graphics are not great, there is not much happening in the background, but if you like the DB Universe, the game offers a lot of play time.

Dbz action from the people who brought you guilty gear and blazblu. So much fun!

Bought this as a birthday gift for my grandson, needless to say he was very happy. Told me it was a great game, still enjoys playing it!!!

Its just a cant put it down kind of game, kids like it .
