So with the third film coming out soon, my nephew and I began watching the episodes on Netflix. As we were watching, we noticed they kept referencing story lines and characters that were not in the films. After doing some research , I found that there was two seasons (4 DVD sets) that aired on TV. Watching these cleared up those questions and it was quite enjoyable to watch for my nephew who is 7. Heck even me in my late 20s I'll admit I like it a lot too.

both movies and the episodes on tv are fantastic, can't wait for the 3rd movie to come out!

Even if you just barely like dragons, you will be enthralled with the series.

Wow! I really love the _Dragon Riders_ TV series. I'm 26 and I actually enjoy this show. I liked the movie and was really interested to see whether the series was worth watching. This is beyond so many of the children's shows that are on TV now. There are actual plots and none of the episodes are annoyingly preachy. This show is so much fun to watch. The voices are great too. Highly recommended.

How to Train Your Dragon Part II continues the storyline from Part I in the same detailed manner. If you liked the movie, then you will definitely like the series. Hiccup, Astrid and the gang continue their journey with their amazing dragons and friends.

The shows are as entertaining as the original movie and keep our sons entertained. I've actually caught myself watching a few of the episodes. The only reason I didn't give them the full five stars on this is because the graphics are not as great as the movie. It's understandable, but still good.

This 2-disc set was made from the Cartoon Networks series of the same name. They were NOT made in Hi-Def, so don't bother looking for the BluRay version of this set. At least you won't have to sit through any commercials.

This series is a great continuation of the How To Train Your Dragon Movie! The animation was slightly better in the movie (to be expected, budgetwise), but most probably won't notice.

My kids love this show. We had recorded all of these episodes on our DVR. After buying this for a super cheap price, we could free up space on DVR and take it on the road.

I enjoyed the movie how to train your dragon and the series pertained to the movie. The both series were a good aftermath from the movie. Can't wait to see the movie How to train your dragon 2.

I bought this DVD for my son because he loves Dragons.... He watched it at least 20 times.The movie has good image quality and the price was good too.

Good cartoons to give a break from the original films. Would be nice if there were more. Well always check here at best buy when wanting DVD's

My son loves this. He picked it out and has watched it a lot since we bought it. I have not watched it nor am I planning on watching it, but my 1st grader gives it a thumbs up!

My son liked both of the movie, both where pretty short no reason one dvd at a higher price wouldn't of been as effective.

Overall good spinoff of the movie but does not have the quality of the movie so I given a very good rating great to buy for the kids.

My boys love Part 2 as much as they do Part 1. This is a great cartoon series if your boys like dragons!

The further adventures of Hiccup, Toothless and the gang. How can you go wrong? You can't and neither has the production team.

I'm so happy my son loves these...that way I can watch them over and over again.
