A decent purchase, if you know what you're buying.

The first thing to point out is that the "Power Fit" accessory is NOT a rechargeable battery. It is a very simple device that replaces the batteries and powers the Wii Fit using a USB cord. The benefit of this is that you never have to worry about changing or charging batteries and you don't have to worry about the lifespan of rechargeable batteries. As long as the Wii has power and the Wii Fit is plugged into the Wii, you have unlimited power. The downside of this, of course, is that it has to be plugged into a USB port, which isn't such a big deal for me since the included USB cable is long enough for my living room. The only thing I can say that I would improve about it's design would be that the side of the Power Fit that goes inside the Wii Fit is molded to be the same shape as 4 AA batteries and this actually makes it a little too form fitting on the inside so that you have to work at it to get it in (or out of) the Wii Fit. So the Power Fit is what I bought this for and I wasn't disappointed. The holsters however don't impress me at all. Like with everything else that you can put the WiiMote in, you have to take off the rubber cover to get it in. And even then it's still such a tight fit that you have to struggle to get it in and out and it is usually mashing the buttons when it is in there. I prefer just sliding the WiiMote in my pocket. So, not really happy with that part of it so much. Bottom line: I would have much rather bought the Power Fit by itself for $10 or $15, but since it doesn't look like it gets sold that way, this was the cheapest alternative.
