I have had this camera up and running now for one month straight. It has been easy to use and works flawlesly. The internet interfce through google chroe and internet explorer has worked wonderfully. Nothing but high praises for this easy to use web cam.

We bought 2 HD DropCam's to monitor our dogs while we are out of the house. They were easy to set-up , and the wireless connected immediately. The picture is so clear, even when viewing at night. The microphone feature has come in handy to speak to our dogs. We also set them up to run every night as security cameras. My wife and I love these!

Dropcam was very easy to set up, downloaded the app and it was ready to go. Very awesome quality during the nights too, able to see room very clearly. No issues with setup and watching. Would not hesitate recommending to friends and family. Very happy to have made the purchase. Price was also very reasonable.

I bought 3 of these at Christmas Black Friday sale. Hooked them up in no time and positioned them around my house. They work great, video is clear. I signed up for the 10 day recording feature for the cameras and I love it. The new Nest software is a bit wonky at the moment now that everything is switching over to Nest services. I'm sure it'll work itself out in the next months coming up. I did get the 720p versions. I plan on getting the Pro versions next to get higher resolution and a wider angle. I do wish there was an option to record them locally on a computer or NAS server along with the online recording. But it's not a deal breaker. Works great with my iPhone and iPad. The alerts for motion zones is a great feature. I do wish you could have block out zones wear it didn't even register movement. But the online filters work great when sorting thought the 10 day recording log to see what events happened. Love it! Buy it! It is an awesome product!

the camera is easy to set up and install, and the video goes to the cloud and is available to you from any location where internet is available. the video is of decent video quality. the camera supports both-way audio. a perfect solution for indoor monitoring. you may want to place it closer to your outlet to avoid long wires. my intention was to use the camera at my porch (to serve as a peephole), which i am not fully satisfied with yet. the problem is that it is not recommended for outdoor use due to possible severe temperatures or/and humidity. so i set it up on the window conveniently located by the entrance door. the problem is that the window glass reflects light that ruins the picture. the light may come from the camera itself during the night-vision mode or, if you turned this mode off and have a light source outside, it may reflect from the blinds and glare on the window glass ruining the video again. it works just fine in the day light though.

Finally an easy to set up camera that is wireless and connects to wireless! Video quality great. Night video good too. But, it often disconnects from my wireless Internet. Nothing else connected has that problem. Sometimes wireless drops in strength, but Dropcam shouldn't totally disconnect. To serve its purpose, should be reliable! Also, paid for cloud service because after initial free period, couldn't access ANY video but live video. Not clear when you buy that you'll have NO access to the video you get "motion detected" notices for unless you pay another $99/year. The cloud service is just okay...spotty sometimes when trying to watch even recent video moments. Idea is good, needs tweaking. Overall, a good product--best for its price and ease of use I've seen, but not 5 star yet.

I purchased the Dropcam for the lake house and planned on using it for the warm months so that I can view the lake when not there. I went to check on the place in January and hooked it up (Easy) and have been enjoying watching the lake freeze. The specs on the Dropcam says that it will function between 30 and 90 degrees. Well this morning the temps dipped to -20 and it still worked! I was able to use the zoom function too. This is an amazing product and I'm really glad I bought it!

The dropcam has an excellent picture and is easy to setup. I have the NEST Smoke detector so I get a picture of the area when the smoke alarm goes off. (only once so far). Nice build quality (metal). It would be nice if some kind of local storage option was included is my only issue as the recording options. (starts at $99 per year) seem a little high to me. (10 or 30 dollars a month depending on recording duration option)

Simple, easy, very Apple like. Up and running quick with a good picture. It's a little pricey, but worth it. My only wish is that it ha sa way to extent the antenna somehow. Like a cable out you can sting to a good reception point. I found a good spot for this, but there were better spots that didn't have as good of reception. I could have stuck it there, an attached a cable like antennae extension that would have been cool. Still a good camera.

Very pleased with the Dropcam. Video is clear on both PC and mobile device. Easy to set up in seconds. Use primarily to monitor my puppy when I'm away from the house or when he is sleeping at night. Two way communication feature is great. The cloud recording service is very pricey so I opted not get it after the trial period ended.

Camera was very easy to set up and connect to my computer. The picture quality is fantastic. It is simple to move around and adjust but it has no remote pan or tilt function. It does get very warm when it is on but I haven't had any problems at all with it. It is also very convenient to use the andoid app on my phone. The picture is clear and it is so easy to zoom in or out. the sound is great and the microphone is very sensitive. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a product that is easy to set up and use. Overall I am very impressed with the drop cam.

This camera is great for the apartment to watch over our dog when we aren't home. The app is easy to download and use on your phone or tablet. And it's awesome how there's a mic so you can talk to the dog if she's doing something bad!

I originally bought these before Nest purchased Dropcam. The cameras work great. Love the wireless connection, just wish they were battery powered as well. There are work arounds. Main issue is sometimes the app freezes or the camera will drop a signal.

Bought this cameras to set up at home to keep an eye on it while I'm away. works really good, any loud noise or any movement and you'll get a snapshot send to your email and a notification in your phone.

Bought this camera to add another area of surveillance to our home. Installation of these cameras could not be easier. It only takes a few minutes to have them up and running. The camera quality is excellent and it shows a wide view of an area. We also use the 7 day video monitoring which provides us great peace of mind when away. Also fun to see what the dog is up to when gone. My only complaint would be that the company should consider discounting video plans for multiple cameras.

This is the first time i am trying a monitoring video camera. I thought of buying this one for India, but the streaming was very poor because of internet connection and then i brought back to USA. Now using this one to monitor my baby. The video quality is good, but not as like in the website. I have to get in touch with the support team to check that.Zoom function is not that clear.When you zoom, you will see image getting blurred.(may be quite obvious). I think Dropcam-Pro gives a high quality and zoom. Compared to other basic models, i feel this one is ok to solve the purpose.

Easy setup and access. Solid construction. Runs a little warm. Can be a little delay on activity notices. Quality images, even in low light.

It's hard keeping an eye on my two daughters while I cook and clean. I bought two of these items and I'm in love. I can tap into the app and see what they are doing including talk into the mic. However, it does as a layover when you send a respond but it does grab both my daughters attention when they are about to get into some trouble. I'm going to buy my third one and put into the garage to see whose coming and going.

This is my second Dropcam. I have this camera trained on our driveway to track the coming and goings of vehicles at our house. The picture quality is excellent and it has a microphone to capture audio as well. We use the Android app to view the footage on our phones and tablets. I do opt for the DVR service which keeps a rolling 7 days of footage stored in the cloud; $100 a year for the 1st camera, $50 for the second.
