Excellent toast!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is not a fancy machine. Well...the brass was a little extra. There are no bells and no whistles on it. You lower the bread manually; you raise the toast manually. It runs on a timer and you will want to read the instructions. Here's the thing: it is nearly 40% more powerful than pretty much any other unit out there. This translates to real toast, brown and crunchy on the outside while still somewhat pliable in the inside. (So you are not buying another crouton maker here.) Yes, the price is a little off-putting; expect it to last a loooooong time. If for some reason it does break (no forks in the toaster please) it can be repaired. We are very, very pleased with it.
