I can always rely on Best Buy to come in clutch. I had my last controller for several years before the stick drift started to be come unfixable. It was so easy to get a new one shipped to my house the next day and it works buttery smooth again.

This controller is the best controller I've ever used. I use this controller daily and get vwry little stick drift after a year but that doesn't bother me at all since my character is always moving in game but thats besides the point. If you wanna play competitive fps gaming this is definitely a go to since its easy to master the claw style and you can overclock this baby on pc or laptop to half a millisecond delay so basically the input lag is dead serious. Definitely consider this controller for competitive gaming

Works like a charm. My last controller had stick drift and tried all I could to save it. Thought it would be less than I paid for it.

I love Best Buy products you can go wrong with them. I needed another controller my original one was starting to drift a lot (can’t have that) especially playing NBA 2k. So I browsed around and decided to purchase from bestbuy.com. The controller is great smooth like my original one that came with the console first time I played it. So whatever the reason your needs are, needing one, two, or more it’s worth it.

It is a PS4 controller, so yay it works with my PS4. The main thing I'm excited about with this is every controller I've ever had ends up with a sideways drift. I bought the best guy warranty on this one, so in theory when it develops that I can take it in they will try to fix it and if they can't they'll give me a new one.

It was good and I didn’t have any problems with it after the purchase now I can say the older it gets sometime it develops stuck drift so you might want to get a warranty on it but overall it good

Im tired of buying ps4 controllers, but hopefully this will be the last one. Stick drift is a constant problem with these

A second brand new PlayStation 4 controller is what you need when you are a hardcore gamer!! It can be use as another alternative once the first controller’s battery dies, you’ll have a charged one ready to get back into gaming without delay of waiting to fully charge. Be careful of being too aggressive with the analog joystick because it can stick overtime resulting in sticking into certain directions that will ruin gameplay such as characters moving on its own.

The controller is fantastic, there is no drift, and is very smooth. Truly a treasure.

Its great and all when it works... but then 4 months later i gotta buy another controller because of stick drift again... they dont make em like they use to

It has a lot of stick drift on the right analog stick  but its still a good controller.

This is my 4th controller in 9 months. These are not made for Battle Royale mode games, since the right stick is often used for crouching, after 2 months the sticks start to drift. They are really good for any other game on which you don't have to constantly press L3 or R3.

This controller started giving me problems after 3mo. Now fast forward to March, The analog stick is sticking. It’s literally moving constantly during game plays.I’m getting dizzy while the character is going in circles. I need a return or refund asap.

Broke after less than a year (stick drift) and because the serial number on the back is smeared from a faulty printer (see picture) neither BB nor Sony will honor the warranty.

Classic, fits the hand well! Responsive out of the box. Over time though a lot of these controllers develop stick drift. Which is really tough if your a serious gamer and it slips out of your hands even once. A modular controller or something more high end would be advised, but this checks all the boxes, has good battery life and no issues pairing! No extra buttons for modularity compared to high end controllers. Expensive for what you get, but classic.

I got my first PS4 in October or November of 2015, and I immediately fell in love with the DualShock 4 controller. I loved the size of it and the way it felt in my hands, and even now with the PS5’s DualSense controller, I still prefer this one (though the different haptics in the DualSense make it a very close contender). I also love that it is far more durable, whereas the new DualSense is very prone to developing stick drift. I use this with my PS5 whenever I play older PS4 games on it.

My son has been needing a new PS4 controller. His was getting bad stick drift and was just overall old. So buying him a new one for Christmas was the best idea! He absolutely loved the color over his old black one and has enjoyed playing with a brand new controller so thank you for the fast shipping and the brand new product!

What can you say about the Dualshock 4, it's maybe the single best controller ever made. It's certainly the most ergonomic. I buy controllers for their ergonomics, not for their other features, like vibration, which I promptly turn off. I have never held a Dualshock 5, but if I were to ever purchase a PlayStation 5 I would certainly try to use a Dualshock 4 to play it with instead of a Dualshock 5. I find it very disappointing, on Sony's part, that they constructed the Dualshock 5 to be rounded, as a possible concession to the trend of controller shape that the Xbox's controllers seems to have influenced. Especially when they already had the best, most ergonomic, and most successful controller on the market. I really hope they return to this form factor again. The only problem I have with them is that the analog sticks have dead zones from around 10 to 12 o'clock, which has persisted for multiple generations. Also, they're not as precise as they could be. Sony really needs to address this.

I bought this for use with a PC. It is mostly compatible but some uses might require something like DS4Windows to recognize the controller. I like the PS layout over the Xbox I find dealing with minor compatibility issues worth it. The controller could be more reliable for the price however. I've purchased more than one and the buttons do degrade for use with time. Stick drift is the most serious issue. Triggers would be the next most likely to go.

After my beautiful red DualShock 4 got obliterated for having it for 5 straight years along with analog stick drift & slowly unregistered buttons , I decided to buy a new one which was the best decision ever. Everything feels fresh and brand new. I recommend getting a new ps4 controller or even ps5 controller every 2 years.
