After watching the movie on HBO and hearing the lackluster sound provided by streaming, I knew the Blu-ray had to be better. I wasn't disappointed, the Dolby Atmos sound on this disc is one of the best I have heard through my system with Atmos, which I found to be less defining than a comparable DTS soundtracks in the past. I hope movie studios improve their quality in future Atmos sound mixes. The picture was outstanding in brightness and detail in 4k.

i saw in theatres with friends, fell asleep watching it, so I bought the movie to rewatch and see with my brothersm I still have the same thoughts, just a big borinc epic, it needs the 2nd part in order to make the story complete, but I enjoy it on subsequent viewings, which is a good sign. Never read the books, so that mightve helped my enjoyment levels.Qualitt of the packaging was great, Im picky about that, and it is very visually stunning, but the over valie of the film, not worth the original high asking price, I onlt got it as it was on sale

Amazing! Great cast of actors. Great action and storyline. Way, way, way better than the first. So glad they decided to remake this movie. Cannot wait for the rest of the trilogy to come out. Love the Atmos. Soynds great! Definitely recommended!

Dune (2021) is a really, really great movie! Honestly, one of the best Sci-Fi adaptations currently, and really hope the next 2 films carry the series forward into a bright, bright future with director Denis Villeneuve in the helm. Overall, the picture quality, the audio, cinematography, casting, acting, editing, and the storytelling are all highly fantastic! Highly recommend the pick-up for this movie in particular. You will NOT regret it!

Villeneuve's DUNE is probably thr best science fiction movies I've seen in years. Excellent world building, it all feels authentic, and an interesting story. I don't want to spoil anything in this review. I will say that my only complaint for the film is that in the worldbuilding, theres plenty of exposition dumps AND illustrating what they said. It is show AND tell, but that's small potatoes. I highly recommend and look forward to Part 2.

Good movie on a good 4K Disc! I bought this for a friend and he enjoyed it!

My daughter and I were blown away by Dune when we saw it in theaters. We're both fans of Denis Villeneuve and the combination of thoughtful and visceral qualities that he brings to sci-fi movies. This one is no different and the attention to both scale and detail seems part of his auteur sense. The steel book is a treat and conveys some of that spirit through the artistic choices. Very pleased. Hope it comes back in stock!
