This works as good as they say it does. i am very pleased except for the programing. they say you are suppose to view up to 2 weeks programing, but it only gives us about 24 hrs programing. some of the channels will give you up to two days but that is it. If you want see what is coming up on TV programing for anything longer than 24 hrs you better get on your computer to see that.

I've been using my Channel Master DVR+ now for almost 4 years. Ive recorded hundreds of hours of over the air programming with it and been extremely happy to have it. If you are wanting to go to ota tv viewing, and have a reliable antenna producing decent signal strength, I couldn't recommend this dvr more.

GOOD PRODUCT, EASY TO INSTALL AND OPERATE. GOOD VALUE

I was so surprised to find out how thin this thing is. With the 1Tb hard drive you can record all your favorite shows FROM THE ANTENNA and it just won't fill up! The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is its limitation to over the air recording. YOU CANNOT RECORD STREAMING CHANNELS. Kind of a big deal to some of us who love the channels offered by SlingTv. But, all in all, it works flawlessly, though the UI is simplistic. The recording setup is very different from the DVR's from DirecTV and Dish. But, you can get used to it. Would I recommend? Absolutely, considering my satellite bill was swapped for $24/mo for SlingTv. All over the air channels are free. Who knew there were so many great shows I used to love being re-run on all the sub channels??? Buy it!

Excellent for cable cutters, it works so good I wanted the second one for the other room. It does all the fast forward and recording without any problem Very easy to hook up good channel resolution no more cable bill

I had an channel master pal dvr that lasted about 4 years. I was glad to see that there was a terebyte of storage, especially with the Olympics coming up. It is much improved over the old dvr. I have not used much but the internet channels are a unexpected bonus.

Subscripton-free home DVR was my target with this purchase. The ChannelMaster DVR+ delivers! Easy to use remote. Viewing and recording live OTA programs in HD works flawlessly. 1TB internal drive rocks. Great OTA program guide and system menus. Same program guide gives access to streamed content via Ethernet or WiFi.

I disconnected my Direct TV and needed a DVR to record over the air broadcast of my local channels. Did not want to have to pay a monthly fee like TIVO and read this one was a good unit. I will say, this is a GREAT DVR. Easy to set up, easy to program shows to record and very user friendly over all.

I got the dvr+ with 1tb HD cannot say anything negative. Channel signal is great and recording is flawless.

I finally got tired of paying the high cable fees and got brave and cut the cord. It was hard at 1st seeing as our household is technologically challenged. At first we tried to exist with just the antenna and our TV"s but we soon missed being able to see our favorite shows because we were never home to catch them while they were airing. So, after some research I was set to buy a Tivo to record our shows while we were not home but it doesn't run Sling TV so we decided to go with this to access Sling TV. Now we are able to record my mom's daytime soap and my evening sitcoms and drama's . Once we subscribe to Sling TV, I think we will be set. Sometimes the shows play back a little spotty because of the weather interfering with the antenna but for the most part we are really happy. Besides even with Cable we would sometimes have this issues too.

This product was well worth the money I paid. No more outrages charges for cable. Just hook up to your antenna and internet and your on your way watching/recording what you want to watch/record. The channels are clear, streaming is awesome

Cut the cable with Directv. Needed something to record local channels OTA. Sling TV software on DVD was a plus 4 me.

Does the intended job. WiFi connectivity useless. Solution from CM download via thumb drive. Inquired size of file told it would tell me on the computer. Again it does recording job perfectly and substantially increased number of received stations

You will be so glad you brought this item. I would give this Dvr a 10 star if their was one. If you work and can not get to see your tv shows this is the Dvr to have. It is the very best of the best Dvrs . It's worth every penny.

The set is simple. I get to watch and record different programs at the same time. I especially like the fact that I don't have to pay a monthly rental fee to the cable company.

Channel Master dvr works great as advertised. I can record broadcast shows and movies to watch later. Has 1tb hard drive built in. Only drawback is it could have more output connections to go along with the hmdi connection.

Channel Master DVR is a great product and I do not have to pay any fees to watch. Great to have when cutting cable and taping your programs

This is our second model of ChannelMaster DVRs, and we still think it's the best DVR for over the air antenna. The tuner seems to be a little less powerful than with the last model, so I had to make some adjustments to get all the channels we used to get. But now it's working great. Apart from the tuner, everything else is an improvement.

Very happy with this DVR. Works great since purchased 3 mo ago. Used with sling to add ESPN access which doesn't allow taping, but live coverage works great so far

This unit was easy to set up. It was able to receive more channels than I expected. The channel change is a little slow, but no worse than any other DVR I have had. Overall it was a worthwhile purchase.
