Get great reception and option to get sling tv with popular cable channels for a very reasonable price. Can replace cost of cable company dvr and still record favorite shows over the air.

This is a disappointing purchase. First, my normal antenna wouldn't work with this device. I had to go spend more $$ on a more expensive OTA antenna, now I can watch OTA shows that cut out and freeze. I should have spent the $$ on a streaming service for my phone.

We didn't even know these existed until we had to return 2 of the TiVo OTA units because they wouldn't complete the setup. The Channel Master was no problem at all and we love all the features that come with it, and the quality of the recordings.

Got tired of paying for satellite Tv. Got an HD antenna and this DVR. Love it I can record my local programs. I've had one problem where it lost the guide I just rebooted it and it came back.

Works very much like the DVRs that come with cable or satellite systems. My only real complaint was that it doesn't have a 30 skip button for commercials. Also I wish the remote worked as a universal, but it doesn't play well with my Bose.

We got rid of our cable and so needed a DVR. The recording has gone well with the exception of not being able to record from Sling TV. I am not sure if that is because of the DVR or Sling TV.

1st it does no naturally work with a 4K tv they do NOT tell you this on the box. so you have to force an update. 2nd I have the 100 mile channel master antenna I get more channels WITHOUT the DVR than with it. 3RD & THIS is the kick in the head AFTER the forced update & loss of channels I cannot access the DVR function of the box! Why do I want this if I can't record tv? Honestly save your money frustration & time I have spent I don't know HOW long on the phone with customer support to NO avail! If I could give this overpriced doorstop a 0 I would!

Easy to use after initial set up which was more difficult than I thought it would be. Lots of storage capacity. Record OTA well. A little more expensive than I expected but does work well.

I was locking for a DVR like the old VCR that I could found local channels. This fit what I was looking for. I,m happy with it as theres channels local that not on pay tv

Excellent product for those who want to cut cable.

Is excellent for people wishing to get away from cable, but still record network shows to watch later.

This works great for free, off-air tv. It even has a program guide and allows automatic recordings.

Wish it had more recording capability or options. You can only record 10 min after program.

Love the dvr. Able to pause lice tv and resume. I would highly recommend this dvr.

Good menu Does it's job Would like app support to view content from other devices.

Better than cable, I don't have to worry about bad weather either

I love the concept of an integrated OTA DVR with access to apps with a cable box like experience. However, the processor is a bit under powered which makes the system lag. Upgrade the speed and everything would be wonderful.

This is what anyone needs when you want to cut the cable!

Went OTA but was missing some of my "cable" channels so I added Sling TV which is nice but the interface on my TV alone just wasn't smooth. I bought this and the new TiVo OTA 1TB (both free service) and tried them out side by side. First impression is the Tivo is a much more thought out and slick device BUT it does not support SlingTv. What is nice about this unit is it seemlessly ( as much as possible) integrates your OTA and the "cable" channels on Sling. TiVo only integrates Netflix but I have Netflix and Amazon built into my TV so I don't need that option. This is as close as I could get to cable or satellite and I only need the one supplied remote to enjoy OTA(with a guide and DVR) & "cable" . ( none of the OTA DVR's will record streaming services only OTA programs). The wifi adapter works good but I did see an improvement when I plugged it into my Ethernet in quality of picture and channel change times (about 1.2 seconds on Sling) so if you have Ethernet available save the $50 and don't get the wifi adapter . Oh, this unit is amazingly small
