Loved the first game, great sequel. Hard to believe I first played Dying Light 7 years ago, the sequel is bigger and better with more zombie types. Huge open world and of course the parkour is awesome

Love it. Been playing coop with my brother and we are having loads of fun! Graphics are mostly the same as they used to be back on the original but the game is great. Recommend.

Great zombie game and just as fun as the first one

As a huge fan of the first game I was incredibly excited for this one, but it’s just incredibly disappointing. It’s controls are wonky and don’t register all the time, it’s littered with bugs, and it’s world is very boring to explore. Not to mention it’s story, is one of the most generic I’ve experienced in some time.

I really enjoyed this game, though I was torn in the same way. There were some game mechanics that I felt were very much improved upon from the first (i.e. unlimited sprint), but having an expiration meter on the climbing kind of ruined my experience. Some of my favorite moments from the first game were hanging off of ledges and zipping around the city on my grapple. I did enjoy how this game made it more of a swing mechanic, but I just didn't get the same vibe from the original.

The game plays a lot like the first in the series. Currently there are a few visual bugs, nothing too gamebreaker, I'm sure those will get patched out eventually. If you liked the first game you should enjoy this one. The story is nothing great and the choices are not as impactful as was advertised. Where it shines is the parkour and combat which are both excellent.

I really wanted to like this game more because of how much I enjoyed the first one and this is it's sequel taking place 22 years after the first one but I just can't. My biggest issue with this game, even after all the updates is the lack of tension and anxiety at night, there is no real worry about venturing out into the night which is something it's predecessor was really good at. The story for most part was also forgettable and down right annoying at some parts. I do believe the game will better with more updates, hopefully.

Great game, great successor to the first game. Good storyline, different setting that doesn’t get monotonous.

Gameplay is pretty polished and fun. Story gets a bit much, but you can skip though it pretty easily, so not a big deal. Starts slow and takes a while to get the abilities that really open up the game. A little frustrating if you're used to playing the previous one. Overall it's a really good time though and there is a lot of support with added dlc and updates.

Awesome game miss the grappling hook from the original but parkour overall seems improved.

Fantastic game, launch was a little riddled with bugs but Techland has been awesome with communicating fixes and rolling those out. Great game play that is absolutely addicting. I love running along a wall and comi g off with a drop kick to an unsuspecting zombie!

This was long awaited for. It has not disappointed me as of yet. Graphics are by far better than the last one. Controls are a little bit different than the last one. All in all a great game and the story continues.

Good game, but too many bugs and wasnt nearly as good as the original.

After many many years the new dying light is out and I love it! The story is a little lackluster but the gameplay is amazing!

This was one of my most anticipated games of the year but it did not live up to expectations. The parkour gameplay is 5/5, but in the game’s current state it has many bugs and glitches ranging from simple visual effects to game breaking soft locks. The game has so much potential if these issues can get patched out but right now the overall experience is average at best.

Sadly to say the game did not meet standards the first game was better story by fair.
