This worked well for us as a power strip with the added protection of a surge protector. The outlets are a little stiff, for lack of a better word. My husband almost returned it because the charger for his laptop wouldn't go into the outlets. He pushed a little harder and got the laptop charger in, and now it goes a little easier. But it was stiff at first.

Item is great for my gaming desktop. One thing is that if you have a cable with a ground, the ground has to be really pushed in it does not go in easily, so that it doesn't just come out on its own. One of the reviews online said it doesn't take a ground. IT DOES TAKE A GROUND!!!

The button lights up and it seems to be working okay. The cord is a good length and I was able to push it under the bed so its out of the way. I haven't had any major lightening strikes but it has enough joules that it shouldn't be a problem. Great price and I would buy it again.

I ran out of outlets in our living room and bought this so I could get everything plugged in. It was a great price and works wonderful! I would recommend.

It worked well, but not enough outlets for our system and not enough space between the outlets for large plug-ins.
