Customers admire how the thermal paste is easy to apply and spread evenly. They also appreciate its affordability and effectiveness in lowering CPU temperatures. While some users experienced overheating issues, others found the consistency of the paste to be a bit too liquidy.

You're not going to find thermal compound locally in most retail locations (outside of custom computer shops?), so if your local BB has this in stock and you need it, great, you're all set. There's always more expensive, exotic compounds (silver, etc.) having theoretically better thermal properties that you can mail-order, but is a degree or two difference (tops!) going to really make or break your custom CPU cooling rig? For most folks, this compound is just fine. Appears better than the old Antec packets that BB used to/may still sell.

my computer was running slow and i was experiencing a lot of random shutdowns laltely. I opened up my computer to clean it a bit and realized the thermal compound was completely gone from the cup and only very little amounts were left on the fan/grill. After quickly and very easily applying a portion of this dynex thermal compound, my computer was up and running smooth, and the cup was no longer overheating. this product is very easy to apply with the syringe applicator and the included plastic piece makes removing the old thermal coumpound very easy and fast.

I purchased this compound to use it on my 1st gen I5 laptop that i wanted to cleanup. the processor on my laptop increase temperature from 30 to 75 degree Celsius in like 10 mins when you do internet activities and machine turns off due to overheating. I cleaned up and applied this thermal compound, bravo it hold the temperature around 50 degrees..its still higher for laptop..but there is no increase in temperature beyond 50 degree Celsius.. works as expected. I bought for 2.99 + tax which is more worthy for what i paid..

I have been using the Dynex paste for around two years now. About two years ago, this compound was made by a different manufacturer. The syringe had a small blue rubber cap on it, and the packaging included a blue credit card-like spreader card. This compound actually seemed like silver based compound, and was very easy to spread(it's important to have a thin coat when applying this stuff) This stuff performed very well, even on highly overclocked CPUs. But earlier this year, Dynex changed a lot of their products, including this thermal compound. Now the paste isn't even silver based. It is a silicone-based solution that reminds me of Elmers Glue in terms of it's viscosity. The new solution is a bit runny, and can be messy. Thermal performance is okay, but I don't think it is as good as the older stuff. I still purchase it and use it, however I'd like for the old stuff to be back.

The thermal compound was easy to apply with supplied plastic applicator. My CPU (AMD - they run hot) is working good after installation, no issues with overheating.

This is not the fancy brand that the high end users insist is the best. This thermal compound will get the job done without the excess cost. It spreads easily and covers well. The tube came with an applicator to make it easy to put down a thin coat.

Needed to remove the processor fan and when I went to reinstall, I was out of thermal compound. I was able to pick this up at the local store. I haven't had any negative issues since using.

Easy to apply and easy to spread evenly, which is difficult in the small computer part I put it on. Love the injector, should be on more products.

I had to use this product to reconnect some things in my cousin's Xbox. So it worked but the fix didn't last long. So I don't know if it was because of this product or not but it worked.

This was purchased for a TV repair & I had enough left for another application so I pulled the processor from my PC that was running hot & found that the OE thermal paste had dried up! So I cleaned it up & applied a thin layer in a X patern .[you don't want to much you just want enough to cover area of heat sink with no gaps or bubbles!].I was surprised that this thermal paste using silver actually cooled the CPU temp. aprox 10* F . I like this thermal paste & the price is great!

For the price it's okay but it is really thin and watery. Makes quite a mess if your not prepared for it.

This is by far the best thermal compound in the universe. It's pasty yet flowing and does something with heat that mere mortals can not comprehend so I won't describe it but trust me when I say it does it with amazingly-ness. The best part is it comes in a dispenser that looks a lot like one of those shot looking thingies but it's not pointy so you can't hurt yourself easily. It also came with a small spatula that looks perfect for flipping very very very tiny pancakes. Off to find other stuff to thermally compound. Love it!
