This vacuum is amazing. It is so light, smooth, and powerful. I go from tile to laminate to carpet with ease. We just moved into our new rental home in Florida and the house was so dirty, like a garbage dump. The animal handled it all with ease. I had to empty the canister about four times in the first week and cleaned it once. It was so easy to take apart and clean. Also, spiders don't stand a chance with this beast. Palmetto bugs are another story. Darn thing was spinning around in there for a good thirty seconds and was still alive until I emptied the canister outside and introduced him to my boot. I highly recommend this vacuum.

We've had this vacuum for a few months now, and I am pretty impressed. It continues to clean very well and maintain strong suction, even with multiple shedding pets in the house. The attachments are great and it is very mobile. The only complaint I might have is that the waste bin capacity is pretty low, and since this thing picks everything up, it fills up in short order. It's not a huge complaint, since this is a portable vacuum cleaner, but worth noting.

I'm a self employed house keeper and I've used central vacuuming, Electrolux, Rainbow, and I own a very heavy and awkward Kirby! The Dyson surpasses all of these combined on edging and picking up pet hair! I have an APBT, much hair! It is light weight and so easy to grab and put to work. It works amazingly on getting the pet hair off my upholstery too! Super product! You'll love it!

I have only had this a short time but I love it! Incredible Dyson suction however seemingly much quieter than many vacuums. Multiple options for length of wand and attachments. It does great on hardwood floors, our old vacuum was just flipping the dirt around the hardwoods.

We just purchased condo in Fl., this is vacuum we chose. Very good suction, canister is very easy to move along with you. Cleaning compartment easy to use, with clear material, good to see volume of compartment when full. My husband would have liked a wider brush unit. Doesn't bother me. Storage of wand in unit, good idea. Other utensils included. I like this Dyson

The Dyson lives up to all the advertising. Great suction, easy to use and maneuver around furniture. No bags to mess with, easy to dump and clean. I went from an Electrolux which was great but was 20 years old and old technology. It is time for change with the new.

This is pretty impressive. We've had a very nice Electrolux for years, and the first time we ran the Dyson Animal, we had to empty the bin several times. Clearly a better vaccuum. Very quiet, easy to use, not awkward or clunky at all. Very nice not needing to change heads to go from carpet to hard floors. Very nice not needing to constantly replace bags. Great being able to vacuum rugs without the worry of tangling up.... HOWEVER... When trying to clean up Pine needles from the Christmas tree, the hose clogged. Sawdust from a home improvement project? Clog. Dried mud from the dog's feet? Clog. This is GREAT for routine weekly cleaning.. it get MUCH more than our other vacuum... but keep a shop vac or older vacuum for more "industrial" projects.

A little concerned with the price of the Dyson but overall had heard good things so we went for it. Very impressed with the power and we really like the style and size of the unit. Easy maintenance and easy to move around the house.

Outstanding product. Lightweight and easy to use. Super easy to switch attachments. Never looses power. An improvement over our last Dyson, which we really dug and used for 12 years.

Everything is great, strong suction, nice floor head, good on my carpet and tile. Only thing I'm not a fan is the filter. It no longer need to be washed, but looks dusty. I rather have a washable filter, so at least I know my filter is clean.

Love Dyson vacuum cleaners. This canister model does not disappoint. Lots of good attachments for stairs and hard to get corners. Enjoy the lightweight feel of the vacuum without the weight of the motor.

Dyson claims to never lose the suction power for 10 years, I am not sure if it is true or not. I vacuum my room once a week and it consistently picks up a good amount of dust. I dont have pets but this vacuum works on my long hair. I just wish the canister would dump trash easier since every time I dump it, bits of dust escape. I am 5'2 and I found the hose and extension to not be long enough.

For the lasting quality I would gladly pay a little extra for a Dyson vacuum! I have a Dyson at my boyfriends that I picked out and it works perfect. So I bought one for my house too and this canister style vacuum works great for anything around the house. They are so amazing that I also bought one for my office so that we can use it for vacuuming our trade show booth carpet. For anyone that is looking for a long lasting and high power vacuum I would really recommend any version of a Dyson.

I'm really happy with my new Dyson. Works great! My old Dyson animal has been getting tired after 10 years. I decided to go for the canister vac this time and have not been disappointed. It's lightweight and easy to use. The only part that needs improvement is in emptying the canister. The shape of it doesn't allow for an easy empty.

What a great vacuum - a bit pricey but I think it is worth it- it is super easy to empty and its not too heavy

Love this compact vacuum. It is easy to move and take care of any area. I picked up more with this vacuum than my last Dyson.

Very Powerful vacuum with easy mobility, efficient , portable, and very good for the health off all living here. Traps all animal dander and hair ...takes it out of the air as well as off the floor. Just a great all around Vacuum.

Mus husband & I have bought 2 Miele vacuums over the past few years - one, a canister, and the other, a very expensive upright - because we have 3 dogs and we have dog hair ALL over everything, especially our rugs. Well, the Miele canister was terrible at picking up dog hair on rugs, and the Miele upright, which has a power head, did a much better job at that - but it would constantly get clogged because of the fine dog hair, & my husband has found it virtually impossible to clean out the tube (or whatever it's called) because it's inside the vac & he couldn't get to it. Did a little research and bought the Dyson Cinetic bagless canister for less than half the price of the Miele upright & it does an excellent job of picking up dog hair from rugs. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't do as good a job picking up bigger things as the Miele; nonetheless, I am thrilled to have found a vacuum that really, truly picks up pet hair.
