Great product, pricey but it works amazing in a home with 3 dogs, which 2 shed tremendously! The only downfall is that it doesnt have a self standing option, definitely buy the additional warranty just in case it falls over and breaks.

It amazes me that somehow Dyson always finds a way to improve on their already top of the line products and that is still the case with the new Cyclone V10 cordless vacuum. At first sight, I was a little taken back on the size of the canister attached to the main unit and thought it doesn’t look very ergonomic. However, they seemed to have found the right balance and weight where you don’t notice the size once you start using it, almost as if it should have always been this size. I feel it has enough power to tackle most, if not all, normal floor options including hard floors, standard cut carpet and rugs. I was able to easily find use for all three of the adjustable power modes; MAX for hard floors, MAX or setting 2 for standard carpet and setting 1 for rugs so you don’t suck the rug up or lift it off the floor. The larger style spinning brush head was the perfect size for cleaning my carpeted stairs where the smaller cleaning brush heads are great for couches, cars, etc. One of the biggest improvements over some of the previous models is how long the battery lasts; according to the box, up to 60 minutes on a full charge. I used it for several days around the house without having to charge it so I haven’t actually timed the battery on a full charge as it’s surprisingly still running. As with all Dyson vacuums I have used, this one is very easy to clean and maintain by simply sliding off the clear canister and emptying the container. You slide the entire canister off and run water over it once a month to keep it clean and running in prime condition. After spending time with the vacuum and all the attachments it comes with, I could really justify replacing both a larger and heavier plug in style vacuum and a smaller car vacuum . It also comes with a 2 year Dyson warranty. All that being said, I believe all the benefits to this model will help the consumer avoid the initial sticker shock and justify it as an all-in-one vacuum that should last anyone for years to come.

Giving this one star because it does not include a 90° adapter that is necessary for this vacuum. It’s $50 more from Dyson. Best Buy did not publish my first review about this, I will continue to write a review everyday until it is published.

I recall growing up and my grandmother having a vaccum cleaner that was so intimidating it made you not want to make a mess because you feared how easily it would be to notice we walked on her clean carpet. Those days it was a large clunky machine with a paper bag. This Dyson Animal cord-free is of the future that I bet my grandma dreamt about! I'm giddy about a vacuum and that's okay! Right? Overall this little guy is doing wonders. I have three dogs with short and prickly hair. You'll see my Frenchie here. In a matter of minutes and about five square feet the Dyson v10 collected hair I didn't even see on my tile. Again, grandma would be disappointed in me but proud of this machine. Set up of course as always was easy, and the attachments are so simple to switch out. Besides the large cleaner head, I absolutely love the mini motorized tool. It's a compact version of the cleaner head that I can use on my cloth car seats where a lot of dog hair accumulates but is hard to remove. This is why I repeatedly come back to Dyson because when I think they couldn't perfect something they go and add more power behind such a sleek tool. Right off the bat it revved up and gave me options on how strong the suction I wanted to use. THat comes in handy with my area rugs which have caused issues with other vacuums. The dogs and I are definitely fans of this Dyson (it cleans the areas they sit in and it is going to help with my allergies)! I can't imagine a large corded version of this Dyson! Go get this and surprise grandma, I think I am!

I must admit that i was a little leery on buying a stick vacuum as i thought that A) it would be heavy, B) wouldn't pull as much dirt as my DC24 would, and C) Wouldn't last to do a entire floor in my home with. Boy was I Wrong! The unit pulls WAY more dirt than my DC24. It does have a smaller container than the DC24 but although I did have to empty it a lot the amount of dirt it picked up was substantial! I did two runners, a large area rug and two carpeted steps plus the wood floor around the Rug on one charge and about 8 empties. Each time I emptied it, it was FULL! I mean up the top where it could hold any more if it tried. Talk about dirt. To be fair it was a bit dirty since I hadn't been able to vacuum for two weeks but whoa! It also tufted the carpet really well and no tangles and no hair left over in the roller at all. I also found this to be lighter than I expected, it was very easy to hold in one hand and maneuver everywhere, even all the way under my couch (which the DC24 CANT do). I use a cane to get around so not having to mess with a bulky Vacuum and cord was a major bonus! Last this thing has a really good battery. I used it for the entire downstairs living room, two stairs and my room and the battery meter hasn't even budged. I believe I can probably do my entire house and still have time left on the battery. I have a modest sized house, nothing really huge (4 bed, 2 bath, living room, kitchen and utility room, 2 story) so this is good for me. I definitely recommend this if you want ease of use and a good solid stick vacuum. in fact as i was doing the vacuuming I kept hearing in my head a line from the movie Spaceballs, you know it: suck...Suck...SUCK!!! LOL. Oh and the sound it makes when it runs and then shuts off is wickedly cool. looks like a giant hand canon and sounds like a space blaster. what more can a sci-fi geek want out of a vacuum. makes it fun!

I’ve had the Dyson Cyclone V10 for over three years, and it’s still going strong. Suction power remains excellent, and the battery life has held up well. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and makes cleaning quick and efficient. Definitely worth the investment—built to last!

Has been over 3 years since I’ve purchased a new vacuum. Last one being a corded. Having a cordless vacuum makes vacuuming much easier and convenient. With the Dyson 10 I can vacuum spots now that before we’re very hard to reach with improved and makes the apartment so much cleaner. The suction of the Dyson is extremely powerful no matter if it’s carpet or hard surface suction stays consistent. We keep on the high setting usually. Attachment are very simple to put on, noise level is less then what I expected. Not traditional loud sounding vacuum. Love how you can just grab it and go when you need to and my wife loves how lightweight it feels. We keep it in the charging cradle when not in use which means that it’s always at 100% when needed and the bracket is very simple to set up, just drill 1/4” initial holes (2) and your done. I used a stud finder and installed it near my fire extinguisher. It’s my first Dyson but I feel that after this it’s gonna be hard going to another brand or even back to corded again.

So I used to have a home cleaning service. One of my clients had one these Dysons and I fell in LOVE! It will get all the dirt out of your carpet. It has many attachments and cleans multiple floor surfaces. It’s light weight and easy to use! This is now my all-in-one vacuum for carpet and hard floor surfaces! It’s worth investing in a Dyson.

We’ve had this vacuum for 2 years and the battery is lasting as long as it did the first time we used it. I’m not sure why people ever buy normal vacuum these days. This cordless vacuum is super powerful (we have a dog), it vacuums our 2,000sq feet house in one vacuuming session, it vacuums our cars. It’s reasonably light (certainly lighter than a cord vacuum), and perfect for stairs.

This Dyson vacuum is incredible! I has the suction of a Dyson upright, but in a space-saving stick form. The versatility and maneuverability of this whirling beast is just amazing. It can cut corners while still maintaining immense air speed, as well as taking on an entire room without losing any sucking power. After a full charge, I was able to use it for almost an entire hour! Which is PLENTY of time to do whatever you want with it. From cleaning up a mess in the living room, to vacuuming out my car, even sucking up a spill on hardwood, this versatile wonder-stick vacuum is portable, powerful, maneuverable, light (enough), durable, and incredible! It’s absolutely worth every penny I spent on it.

I still have my dyson animal but hardly ever touch it now that i have this! Great for quick cleanup, small spaces, and the battery holds plenty for me to do the whole 3 bedroom 2 bath house! I can vacuum all of my rugs and couch on 1 battery charge. If I'm deep cleaning, I'll vacuum a few rooms and then throw it on the charger while I mop before moving on to the next space while it reups it's charge. I love the 3 levels of suction and the convenience of having no cord. The only thing I don't love about this is that to run the vacuum your finger must always be on the trigger. I wish there was an on/off switch instead.

Probably one of the best things I had ever bought. This is a essential products every dog owner should have. It saves me a lot of time every day and even more since I have a Husky. You may think is pricey but is really worth it! I even have the roomba J7+ Which cost even more but I think this is a lot better and more convenient when you want to focus small spaces.

Love this vacuum. Very light weight & gets under almost anything. I can go from carpet to wood floor to vinyl so no switching from vacuum to broom to mop. Battery lasts long enough to do the whole house, as long as you don't use it on highest level. Attachments make it easy to do the furniture. Is perfect for pet hair. Makes vacuuming the steps a breeze.
