I've used a handheld Dyson vacuum for The past 6 years now and I'm always impressed by the power they put out. When I upgraded to this one I wasn't 100% sure but this thing keeps my hardwood floors cleaner than ever! Yes I still mop my floors but I love that it comes with the laser head attachment so I can see all the dust and then the water mop attachment is great as it also catches a lot of the dust and debris. I don't look at this vacuum as a full-on mop. It's more of a great way to "vacuum" your hardwood floors even better, because it's kind of like taking a wet napkin and wiping the floor, but instead you're using a vacuum to wipe it up!

This vacuum works great, very powerful suction and easy to use. It makes cleaning much faster and leaves the floor spotless.

I recently decided to upgrade from my v11 animal, which I absolutely lovedfor the house I bought it for, but I have since moved. We brought the v11 to our cabin. I was hoping to downsize on cleaning equipment with this, but after about 2 weeks, it became apparent that it wouldn't work out. The battery only lasted about 25 mins. We have a 2ksqft house with 3 kids & 2 dogs & 2 cats. The v11 could do most of the house if I missed a couple days of vacuuming, I'd be lucky to get thru the floors and forget the couches if I vacuumed daily with this thing. If you think you'll be able to mop after vacuuming, you better keep your old mop or buy another battery or 2. The mop was ok, after awhile it left mud puddleson the floor. I never did try the green light because by the time I got thru the obvious debris, the battery ran out. I ended up returning & buying the Gen5outsize- which functions much like the v11 but is more practical for a large house & multiple dwellers, including the 4-pawed ones. Keeping my old rag mop.

Wow, this Dyson V15s Detect Submarine is a game-changer! Forget everything you thought you knew about cordless vacuums. Powerful suction and great maneuverability. The Moping head uses less water than anticipated which is great. One tank can clean quite a lot of space. Cleaning the moping head can be messy but isn't too difficult. I am giving it 5 stars because the mopping head is sometimes streaky. Other than that it is a great vacuum.

Absolutely love this vacuum! It is great for homes with pets. It picks up so many things you may not even notice were present. I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 because the mop portion is such a hassle to take apart, clean, and empty. If you are waning a vacuum and mop combo, I would get one that is dry/wet vacuum in one.

Overall great vacuum and mop. Holds up well cleaning up after 3 dogs. The wet vacuum attachment needs some improvement. Though. A piece has already broken on it.

Overall this is a great vacuum. I had been wanting to pull the trigger on getting one for months, and when I found out there was a new submarine version with a mop I was sold. As I expected, the hard surface vacuum and laser were my favorite qualities. The mop, not so much. The mop does not pick up hair strands or large clumps of anything like other vacuum mops. I also have white shiny floors and it leaves a lot of streaky lines making the floor look dirty when it’s not. So if you have shiny floors, other Dyson mop options may be better. For that I removed 1 star. Other than that, I’m obsessed with it and love all the vacuum attachments and probably would have been ok getting the regular Dyson V15 rather than the submarine for my floors.

Upgraded from a Dyson V10. Interesting touchscreen interface that tells suction level. Better power and longer battery live when compared to the V10 (can use it twice on one charge in a 800 sq ft carpeted area on max suction). The new head is great, reduced hair tangling by 90+%. I totally recommend this vacuum!

This Dyson vacuum has completely changed the way I clean my home! The is great. I did return this item due to the mopping part. You can only use cold to room temperature water. I prefer to mop with hot water and a cleaning solution that will also disinfect.

Got the Submarine to mop the floors. It works. There are better e-moppers, but think of it this way, I also got a Dyson vacuum cleaner! Dysons are expensive but worth it. They simply work.

everything I like except water cleaning- 1)dispense waster too much that caused floor too wet after cleaning 2) to fill the water process is kind of inconvenient.

Stows away easily, works well on hard floors or carpet. Simple to clean/empty, easy directions to follow. I would recommend this for someone with a medium size place to clean, especially if you have a pet who sheds often and carpet vacuum takes a bit more time/battery. I've used it to vacuum my car as well which is convenient. I love the mop feature for a quick refresh to help maintain hard floors. I like it better than a full size vacuum for sure.

Got this because of the wet head cleaner included. Makes it so much easier to vacuum and then “mop” with this product. Battery makes it possible to do my whole house all in one charge

I love this vacuum! Just have to keep our cat away because I think it would suck him up! Very strong just can’t say enough positive things about it.

I have purchased many Dyson's and this is the best by far, it comes with so many attachments and now I can use what is best for wood/tile, then a quick swap for carpet or pet hair. The only thing that I would improve is there is no wall support or all the included attachments. There is a wall support for the battery so you can hang the vacuum yourself, but had to make one for everything else
