FIFA 26 on NS2 is a solid upgrade over previous Switch versions. The improved hardware delivers smoother gameplay, better graphics, and faster load times, making matches feel more realistic and responsive.
Player animations look cleaner, stadiums feel more alive, and controls work well in both handheld and docked mode. Popular modes like Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and Kick-Off are more complete, giving Switch players more content than before.
While it may not match the performance of next-gen consoles, FIFA 26 is one of the best soccer games available on Nintendo. It’s a great choice for fans who want quality FIFA gameplay at home or on the go.
Recommended for soccer fans and Switch players.

EA Sports FC 26 on the Switch is a bit of a mixed bag, but it’s probably the most beginner-friendly way to jump into the series. The new "Authentic" gameplay setting is great because it slows things down, making it much easier to learn the ropes without feeling overwhelmed. That said, the hardware definitely struggles to keep up—the UI menus feel sluggish and slow to respond, and the gameplay can get pretty choppy since it’s locked at 30fps. It’s not the smoothest experience, but if you just want to play some career mode on the go and don't mind a bit of tech jank, it's a solid entry point.

I’m 45 years old and I’ve been playing soccer videogames since the NES GOAL Games; I’ve played soccer games on pretty much any system and PC.
This game is leaps and bounds superior to FC25 (which looked terrible even in the switch 2, yes I know it was switch 1 game).
I’ve always cared a bit too much about graphics/fps, while this game would be awesome running at 60 fps or even 40 fps, you get used to the 30 fps pace and quite honestly it is not a huge deal.
The sliders and options have been renewed, takes a bit to get used to it but you’ll be fine after you find the setting that suits you best.
I mainly play career mode and it’s more robust and overall better tha FC25, so far I haven’t been able to play online more than once; FUT seems more complicated and it’s not as straightforward as the years before, very disappointing. I miss those simpler time in FIFA 17-18 where you could just find matched immediately.
Very solid offering from EA SPORTS.

Great game! However, it starts as a new player and if you have other systems you play on, it won't transfer that game info over to Switch 2/this game. Also took longer than expected to load.

Looks really good on switch 2 in dock/handheld. Switch 1 version audience looks like paper. Side by side you notice slight difference and this being on sale is a must grab for any sports fan.
