One month into using these hearing devices they are working very well. They are comfortable and easy to put in.
They have 5 different amplification profiles that each treat different sound frequencies with a predesigned amplification level. Once you pick the profile that best serves you needs, that stays fixed (although it can be reset), then you have 4 levels of volume to apply to that profile. I found it easy to select a profile and then adjust the volume for whatever the situation I am in. They also have an effective background noise cancelation feature which definitely helps when conversing with other people in a group setting. I don't wear them continuously, and turn them off when not worn, so I am getting almost 2 weeks of life from each battery. I think they are a great hearing assist device that I believe was being closed out because the manufacturer had moved on to more highly featured models of devices. I don't see any other devices from this Ear Technology listed as available from Best Buy. I feel this is unfortunate since they seem to be good quality and fair priced.
I would recommend this to a friend

Let ear piece stopped working within 2 weeks. They do help for hearing and would have love to kept them if they both worked properly.
