We love this thing. It’s very user friendly, simple set up, looks great on the wall. A great alternative to nest.

Excellent product with multiple sensors. Ideal for song unit with multiple story house. The extra sensor capabilities is huge and Alexa is added bonus. Easy to install and use.

The Alexa function is a little inconsistent. Seems to lose connectivity to Amazon frequently so I finally just turned off the microphone. This is my second Ecobee and I'm a big fan. Probably not worth the extra cash to get the Echo enabled features, but still a great product.

I have definitely seen the pros of having this in our house with our bills since the extra sensor is placed in the only other room that we use frequently (bedroom) and the thermostat is in our living room. We love that we can turn it up or down (set to away or home) via phone and that we can see weather on the display.

The latest ecobee is just as functional and easy to install as he ecobee 3. It’s also slightly better looking. Alexa is loud and clear, but it seems to me the microphone has difficulties picking up voices. I often have to ask Alexa twice before this unit acknowledges.

Works as an Amazon Echo. Download app and control temps remotely. Comes with additional room sensor. Works great.

I bought a Nest that worked great, but I would wake up to error codes every morning. (I have no C wire) Before returning it and picking up the Ecobee 4 I called the Ecobee technical support. I was happy to find that they were very knowledgeable about my A/C unit and compatibility. They sent me wiring diagrams and I hadn't even purchased the Ecobee. Installation was straight forward and easy. It controls all of the functions of my A/C unit and the app is great.

Makes controlling the home temperature super easy. Love that I can control it even when I’m not at home. The phone app lets you monitor things 24/7 and is super easy to use. If you have an older relative that struggles with setting their thermostat this simplify everything and makes life so much easier. I love my ecobee with Alexa you will too

Easy to install, simple to setup and use...AND we got a $100 Ameren rebate! We had a Honeywell thermostat before my husband convinced me that this one would be better...I'm exceptionally happy I listened to him. It learns what temps you like and at what time...which is amazing to have when you have 5 year old twins that drain your brain capacity for small tasks like adjusting your thermostat. Very happy about this purchase!

Love the easy set up and programming ability. The Alexa feature works great with all my other devices.

I really like the Alexa feature since it work with my other smart accessories. The included sensor also enhances the capabilities of control for my daughters room. And it has already saved me money.

Scheduling your heating needs has never been this easy. Using Ecobee we easily managed our daily schedule and we can easily customize it from anywhere there's data access. Family also like the added bonus of having Alexa in a common location. We command it to play in music to our Sonos One speaker. The room sensor helps to keep us comfortable by omitting the schedule if it senses that someone is still at home.

I've only had a Google Home and figured this was a great way to get an Alexa into my house. I bought it and then ended up buying an Echo Dot. The problem with the Ecobee right now (which they are apparently working on fixing) is that it doesn't have Amazon ESP where Alexa only responds to the device that hears you best. So I'd say something to her and both the dot in my bathroom and Ecobee in the hallway would respond. I finally turned off the mic on the Ecobee. I didn't have a use for the remote temp sensor. The Thermostat works well and looks nice, but I decided to go back to a Nest.

Works seamlessly to my Amazon Echo products. She can show me the weather and read the current temps. Sensor works great but I wish there was an option for additional sensors for a Black Friday sale.

You can't go wrong with this purchase. Not only does it have a built in Alexa there are rebates that brings the cost down to under$100. I love getting my news feed very easy to install and program!

Installed 2 of these about a month ago and really appreciated what I felt were thorough instructions. The only thing that was strange to me is that the mounting holes for the thermostat wall-plate are vertical. This means I had to drill/screw two vertical holes in the wall in the same area where the electrical wires for the thermostat are running. It would have made more sense if the wall plate allowed for mounting horizontally. Installation aside, we have a room in the house that gets very cold during the winter but is not near the thermostat so we were curious to see how well the extra sensor would do and it's working to our expectations and surprisingly it's not burning up the rest of the house trying to get that room warm. (it helps that it utilizes temperature ranges than exact temperature ... more on this later) There are a lot of options and configurations and it will take you a few weeks to figure out what you really want/need but I just appreciate the various configuration options as well as being able to connect to the thermostats with my phone, etc. We have both an echo and a google home. Given that an echo is even included in the thermostat, it's of no surprise that the Alexa integration is a lot better than the Google integration. For example, if named a temperature sensor "Den", I can ask Alexa: "What's the temperature in the Den?" and it tells me. With Google, I have to say "What's the Den *temperature sensor* read?" Overall though they both offer similar functionality. Don't think you can go wrong with these. Final thought: At first I was frustrated that the thermostat utilizes temperature ranges rather than exact temperature. I am use to setting the thermostat to a specific temperature and getting that temp. Given now that we have temperature sensors in different rooms it makes sense that setting one temperature is not going to cut it. This took some getting used to but we configured the delta between the low/high temperature and everything is great. If this surprises you, I'd just say keep an open mind about it. I haven't seen a bill yet so I can't speak to it's energy efficiency but from the fact that its keep all rooms an acceptable temperature and we can control the thermostats remotely, we appreciate it.

This thermostat is awesome! I wanted a nest thermostat and after reading reviews, I realized that the ecobee was much more user friendly and didn’t shut off if you didn’t adjust it regularly.

I've had this for several months now. The room sensors, Alexa, remote access, and energy use data online are what makes this great! Don't hesitate! It's almost a no brainer with the rebates!
