With the addition of Amazon alexa, the ecobee 4 is more than just a thermostat. This thermostat can do it all. Control your temperature from hundreds of miles away. Turn on your lights from anywhere in the world. You can even play a game of jeopardy.

This was my 1st smart home purchase. It works well, I am awaiting my first bill to see if it saves on my heating bill. I had one issue when the ecobee server was down. Otherwise a good product. It also helped that I received a rebate from my service provider to help subsidize the purchase price.

It is hard to tell if this reduced my energy bill because I installed it when moving into a new house but the alexa integration is nice. The second thermometer is a nice touch as well so the thermostat can monitor the bedroom as well.

I was in search of a thermostat that has a remote sensor. I found it in this Ecobee4. The installation is straight forward. I placed the remote sensor in my bedroom. Setting up the programming is also very easy (much easier than I anticipated). With this thermostat, my bedroom does not get too hot while the heater is trying to warm up the house to set temperature. It senses where you are and tries to set the temperature accordingly. I love this product. It also helps that my utility company offered $75 rebate.

The thermostat is easy to install and use. The Alexa connect is very helpful. The sensors ensure that the overall temperature is maintained in the home.

the thermostat was easy to install, support was very helpful only downside is if you have another alexa device near its lacking the feature that only picks the closest, from the site it says it may come in a later release so i just turned it off for now still a great thermostat.

This is very easy to install, even for someone mechanically challenged like myself. I like the app and the built in Alexa. Not sure I've seen the savings it claims I'd see, but I'm wondering if I just need a couple more sensors to go around the house to make it really effective.

Not only does it work with my Amazon Echo, not only is it programmable, not only did I get $100 back from my power comp and $50 from my gas company, not only is controllable with a great app...it was easy to install.

I upgraded my old, non-smart, non-programmable thermostat to this and couldn't be happier! It works great. I love being able to control it from my phone. It also looks sooo much better on the wall than my old one!

My favorite thing about the ecobee is that if I'm gone for a weekend and I forget to turn the thermostat down and can hop on my phone and change it. As far as helping me save money on my gas/electric bill, I haven't seen any change. But I am a fan of the smarthome stuff!

I got this thermostat over the Nest mainly due to the additional sensor. I’ve had it for almost 3 weeks now and it’s been great. Having Alexa is a plus too so it integrates nicely with the rest of my devices.

Can't compare it to any of the others on the market but we have several Amazon fire tv's so we went with the one that had Alexa. Works well. Easy to set up and use

Had it for about 3 weeks now. Only using the AC since it’s summer. I bought 2, one for each AC unit. The install was simple. Probably would take 5 minutes. I had to fill my old thermostat holes and paint the wall, so it took a day waiting for paint to dry. Use the PEK kit that was included because I didn’t have C wire. Very simple to do. Instructions were excellent! So far it’s workibg great and I like using the room sensors to know temperature in each bedroom.

The Ecobee 4 takes the benefits of the E3 and adds Alexa. It is easy to install and set up. Easy to control remotely. The Ecobee takes the smart thermostat to a different level with the addition of the sensors. It does a great job of balancing the temperature between rooms. It also knows when you are not in a room or when you leave home. I recently upgraded to the E4 from the 3 and I can tell you that Ecobee will save you money and keep your home comfortable.

Have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when my husband started buying all of these alexa connected devices (I mean seriously, a thermostat?!!) Now I'm a total convert. I can shout at alexa from any place in the house and ask her to adjust the temp in the house. As an added bonus, this thermostat acts as a regular alexa device so I can ask her to do all the things I ask our other alexa devices and she happily complies!

poorly thought out instructions... could be my brain is poorly thought out finally got my iPhone and thermostat linked up. then my internet briefly went down, and I had to start over. should re-connect automatically . performs as advertised .

like the voice activation works well to set to dsired temp with out getting up or I can set to away home or ect as I walk out of home an get home. the follow me not so happy about with having a dog in the home it will sometimes think I am home when I am not do to my dog wondering about when gone so easy to just tell it I am away. nice you can set temp from anywere with cell phone or computer the alexa is nice.

Install was easy and the unit looks great. The app on Android works without a hiccup, and syncing with my Alexa system was quick, easy, and functionality is seamless. I love having the remote sensor as I have only 1 thermostat for multiple stories, just wish the remote sensor had the humidity sensor like the main unit does. I haven't had it long enough to comment on electricity savings, but I'm very happy with the purchase.

I went around and around trying to decide on the ecobee or the nest thermostat. I am very, very pleased with the ecobee. I like the look of it in the room. I like the layout which includes the humidity and weather. I like the ease of the app and the installation was very easy. I like the Alexa features and that it connected easily to my Apple HomeKit. You won't be disappointed with this thermostat.

Absolutely the best smart thermostat on the market. Alexa is an awesome edition to a great device. Recommend getting extra sensors for balanced temps throughout the house.
