If you can't afford over 1k worth of robovac hybrid, this is by far the best Ecovacs purchase I've done. Got it when it went on sale from original price at $999 to $699. I mop my home once a week and this baby is an awesome help. Though it doesn't do any self cleaning mop pads nor drain dirty water and replenish new one. For the much affordable price it does a great job. Mapping is a breeze, vacuum power is enough for my needs. Does self empty dirt. 3D mapping is pretty cool although i rarely use it. It's there if you want to use it. Quiet, surprisingly quiet even at max power. The mopping features is what i like as i does the scrubbing back and fort and actually cleans well. I did purchase extra reusable pads and cleaning solution awww which I'm very excited to use soon, cleaning solution. By far, I'm loving it and like a said, great household helper. Was going for the Omni X1 but can't afford it. I'm very happy with this purchase. Awesome job ecovacs and thank Bestbuy for selling it and having it available for pickup same day.

    Great Navigation, Cleaning and Features

TLDR: (that’s Too Long, Didn’t Read) Amazing navigation and mapping. Can vacuum and mop at the same time, but mopping setup per session is a tad awkward. App is comprehensive but a bit cumbersome. Pros: * Quick and accurate mapping. * The in-app map shows you “live” where it as during a run! * Self-emptying dust bin works great. * Can vacuum and mop at the same time. * Comprehensive app with a ton of useful features. * Can show and record live video while navigating. * Very quiet during normal vacuuming. * Large auto-empty dustbin. Cons: * A bit cumbersome to set it up for mopping. * Some useful features in the app are buried. * Mopping is water-only; no cleaning solution. * Somewhat small vacuum opening in the middle of the bot. * Missing a few useful features in the app like naming areas that aren’t full rooms. Details - Setup: After unboxing, the hardware setup was relatively straightforward. Plug in the power cord and place the charging base station where you want it. Snap the dual side brushes to the bottom of the bot, insert the “blank” air freshener piece in the back of the bot, turn on the power switch located under the top cover, and put in on the charger. The app easily walks you through getting the bot on your WiFi and connected to the app, and then checks and installs any available firmware updates. Everything worked well and quickly and my Deebot was online and charging in no time! After it was done charging, it was time to let it map my house so it can know where it is while working. This process took about 15 minutes and ended with a rather impressive map of my home’s rooms. It even guessed at the room types by what the camera saw in the room. For example, it properly guessed the two bathrooms! As with most robovac mapping systems, you can refine the map to move walls or join spaces if necessary. The auto-generated map was really good and I only needed to fix a few small areas. There’s even a cool 3D mode that lets you put virtual furniture in the room to make it look more realistic. There are not a ton of furniture options, but overall, it worked well enough. One thing I missed from my other robot’s mapping systems was the ability to name areas within a room. For example, my home is all terrazzo (polished concrete) but we do have a few area rugs. The mapping system figured out where the rugs were and even marked them properly, but I unlike the other robot’s app, I cannot name the rugs for targeted cleaning. For that, you have to manually (each cleaning session) draw a rectangle around the area you want to clean. I would rather just name the rug and ask to clean the rug by name. Setup of the mopping module is easy but you have to be a tad careful. It comes with a reusable mopping pad that slides into a groove for placement and then Velcro’s to the bottom of the unit. Fill the tank with clean water but be careful to not get the electrical contacts wet. That’s it. Once you get the base and vacuum set up, and let it map your space, you’re good to go with the basics. Details - Typical Usage: Vacuum-only sessions are really easy to do. You can tap the button on top of the vacuum to start a “clean everywhere” session, or use the app and select the Auto Clean option. It uses the map it created to methodically vacuum everywhere. When set to “normal” suction, it’s quite quiet. It worked well, but I think my prior high-end auto-emptying vacbot was a better vacuum in that the suction was stronger, the opening was wider and more toward the front of the bot, whereas with this Deebot, the opening is kinda in the middle of the round robot so it doesn’t quite get into the corners as well. Overall, though, it still works great. You can set up the order it cleans the rooms in your home when in Auto mode which is really nice. You can also set up schedules and there’s a nice “Do not Disturb” that prevents automatic cleaning and turns off the cameras and microphones, but this option is buried in the app and not easy to find. My one complaint is setup for a mopping session. The mopping accessory attaches to the back of the robot and it is recommended to remove it when the job is done so you can remove and clean the mopping pad, and empty the water tank. Since the robot backs into the charging station, you basically have to pull the robot out of the charging dock, swap the “blank” (air freshener) module with the mopping module, then push the robot back into the charging station before you start a mopping session. Then, when the session is done and the robot docks itself and empties the dustbin, you have to reverse the procedure to pull the robot back out, remove the mopping module, etc.. That said, the mopping works better than I expected and it’s really cool that it vacuums and mops in a single pass. It’s also smart enough to skip areas that are marked as carpets automatically when mopping. I will say that I was disappointed that it did not have a converse program to vacuum only the carpets after it complete the mopping session where it skipped the carpets, but that could come with a later software update. One of my favorite features is that you can watch the map “live” while its cleaning/mopping and the map actually shows not only where the robot is in real time, but also shows where it’s cleaned in that session. There is also a part of the app that you can use the robot as a security camera. You can mark areas on the map that it should go to and spin to record video. There’s a lot more functionality, too. Details - Typical Maintenance & Battery Life My home is about 1800 sq feet split on two “levels”, so the robot does about 1000 square feet in a session, and then I put him down in the other level for the rest. So far, I have not seen the battery level go below 75%, so battery life, even when mopping, is phenomenal. Typical maintenance is easy. Removal of the robot’s dust bin is straightforward but requires a bit of effort. Since you really only need to do this periodically to clean the filter, it’s no big deal. The bag in the auto-empty charging base is huge and should last quite a while unless you have multiple shedding pets ;-). The only part of the system that requires frequent cumbersome maintenance is the mopping module. Aside from the whole removal/reattachment mentioned above, the reusable mopping pad is hand-wash only and has a flexible plastic stick in one end to guide it onto the mopping accessory for mounting. You have to hand-wash that pad and be careful not to bend the plastic stick. Then air dry the pad. It’s not worth putting it back on when it’s dry because they recommend that you wet the pad before each use, so you’d have to take it back off before mopping again anyway. The water tank is easy enough to fill. It’s not clearly stated anywhere but they recommend water only; no cleaning solution. It still works well, but I miss having a fresh scent after mopping. Conclusion: I’ve been a long-time owner of robot vacuums and also have a robot mop. They are really good but are no longer the only robovac’s worth checking out. This Deebot was about the same price as the my other high-end auto-emptying robovac, but offers some really useful features like mopping and video. Plus, I really like the live map that shows exactly where the robot is and where it has been while it’s still working. Sure, there are a few rough edges; namely the need to install and remove the mopping module before and after each session, but overall, this a great cleaning helper that offers competitive advantages at a reasonable price.

    Above and Beyond Robot Vacuum

Robot Vacuum’s have been a great addition to the home tech market. They are a great way to keep your home looking fresh on a daily basis with minimum effort needed. Well the Deebot T10+ takes the idea to a whole new level with their new features and its made things even better! UNBOXING & SETUP: - First off, I was genuinely surprised at how big of a box this came in! It makes sense given its the vacuum and the base but still it was interesting. - Overall unboxing and setup was very easy and simple! Only a few items needed to be connected together and then the Deebot App does the rest. PROS: - I really like the look of this Deebot robot vacuum! The white is super clean and modern, plus the whole top is a magnetic lip instead of a hinge like the other ones so I was a fan of that. - The Deebot App is fantastic! Really easy to dive in, see how things are going, change settings, and any other thing you need. I would highly recommend you add this to your Google Home account as I can just say “Hey Google, Vacuum” and the Deebot starts for me. Super easy! - As far as performance goes, I was very impressed by how clean it made everything. It did a wonderful job cleaning up dog hair, dirt in the entry way, and any crumbs in the kitchen. There was a big noticeable difference after I vacuumed and that alone was well worth the item to me. - Along those lines, the mop feature is really great too. The Deebot is smart enough to know when to vacuum on carpet vs when to mop/vacuum on hardwood floors. This is a great feature that also keeps the home really clean! - Once the Deebot is done cleaning, the base will transfer any dirt/hair into a bag inside the base. This is another great idea as it makes my life even more hands off with this product. Instead of having to clean out the Deebot every time it vacuums, I will only have to do it once it notifies me of a full bag on the inside. A nice high quality smart feature on this! - Its tech inside to map your home is super smart. The app has upgraded a lot to give you a lot more flexibility and options on how to vacuum with how the robot maps your home and can label areas. - Probably my favorite new feature is the camera on the front of it. The camera is intended to help with accuracy while cleaning but Deebot made the brilliant move to let users watch the front camera while being used or in docked mode. Just a really nice helpful feature to be able to look into your home or check on your dogs even. I really think that was a great move by them! - Finally, they now have these little air freshener pods you put inside the robot to add some nice smells to your home while it vacuums. Another fantastic addition to an already great robot. CONS: - The biggest “downside” would just be the size of the dock/robot. It obviously takes up more space than one without a self cleaning dock, so just make sure you have a space set aside to place it. - Although I like the air freshener pods and the self cleaning dock, it is an added expense I will have to pay to replace every so often. Obviously you don’t “need” to get new air freshener pods and maybe the bag will hold up a long time. But its just a small reservation I have about this. BOTTOM LINE: - Robot Vacuum’s are something I can’t recommend enough for someone’s home, and the Deebot T10+ is one of the best on the market. It does an excellent job vacuuming, mopping, and will self clean the vacuum bag once you are done. It’s something that I use frequently in my weekly life at home and I know will quickly become the same for you!

    Make Robots Do Your Chores

Let’s start with a shoutout to robovacs. These things are incredible for anyone with pets that shed, messy children, those who enjoy a tidy living space at all times, or those that are just plain lazy and want technology to do the chore of vacuuming and/or mopping. I am personally the ultra tidy one and robotic vacuums have kept me sane. This is the second robotic vacuum that I’ve owned and it is FAR more advanced than my first, which is only a couple years old. Here’s what I think makes the Deebot T10+ great, and where it could still improve. The Good: - Setup is easy. If you have a smartphone, 2.4GHz WiFi, and are able to read instructions, you should have no problems. The T10+ was automatically able to identify the 2.4GHz “band” of my WiFi so I didn’t have to fumble around with manually selecting the right network or forgetting my WiFi network on my phone so it didn’t automatically jump back to the 5GHz “band.” I think this will make sense to those that have set up other smart home products. - Home mapping is quick, like really quick. My first robovac took roughly 20 minutes to map my 950 sq ft apartment that I was living in at the time. My new apartment is roughly 1200 sq ft and the T10+ mapped it in about 6 minutes. Blown away by this. - Suction is powerful…a good thing for a vacuum cleaner. I feel like the T10+ plus has been effective every time it has cleaned thus far. It also has a sensor for carpet and increases suction when in a carpeted area. Vacuums beautifully straight rows. - Mopping is also effective. I appreciate that the T10+ knows to avoid carpeted areas with the mop attached so water doesn’t get where it shouldn’t. - The air freshener feature is novel, but definitely not a necessity. - Another novel feature, or at least new to me, is the home monitoring feature. The T10+ can literally be used as a remote controlled camera for your home and is controlled through the app. If you need to check on your pet while you’re out or make sure you switched the lights off while away on vacation, just power up the app from anywhere and drive the T10+ to the location that needs to be visualized. This is SO cool! - The auto empty station is incredible. I absolutely love that I don’t have to manually dump the vacuum's dust bin when it’s full. Just replace the empty station’s bag when necessary. Best Buy does sell replacements. - The ECOVACSHOME app works well overall. It allows you to control every aspect of your T10+, shop the Ecovacs store, schedule cleanings, and get notified of any potential issues with the vacuum (i.e. when/ where it’s stuck). No subscription is needed to use the app and all of the vacuum’s features. - The T10+ is compatible with smart home devices like Amazon Alexa. The Not So Good: - The T10+ is spendy. For half the price, you could get a high end cordless stick vacuum. But of course, that requires you to vacuum yourself. - While incredibly advanced, the T10+ does still get stuck under and around some furniture. It REALLY struggles with furniture supports, like those under a bed frame. I personally only run my vacuum when I’m home so I can always get it unstuck. - Not perfectly environmentally friendly. Disposable mop pads get thrown away, air freshener pods need to be replaced, as do the auto empty station bags when full. While a reusable mop pad is included, I would have really liked to see a reusable empty station bag be included in the box as well. I suppose Ecovacs needs to make some money after the sale of the vacuum itself. I’d rather buy bags periodically than have to purchase a subscription to use the app. Other components will wear over time and need replacement, especially the spinning brushes. As you can tell, there are many more things I like about the Deebot T10+ than dislike. If you’re in the market for a really solid robovac, this is an excellent choice!

We’ve had many robotic vacuums in the past and we’ve always went with the cheaper models “$500 and under” and have never tried a more expensive unit. We saw the new T10 Plus model offered by Ecovacs and decided to give a higher end unit a try. Unboxing: The T10 arrived in a large logoed box and was very well packaged inside. There were two boxes internally, one holding the base docking unit and another holding the T10 and all the accessories. The T10 itself had a foam cushion around the front edge of the bumper and that has to be removed right away. It and the doc were inside nice cloth bags keeping them protected and scratch free. The side brushes, washable mop head, disposable mops, power cord, air freshener, cleaning tool, instructions were in there as well. I was impressed with the weight of the T10 itself, none of the other robotic vacs we’ve owned have ever weighted this much, and it feels very well made on top of that. The power switch is under the top plate “which is held in place by magnets”, I like this placement, on a couple other robot vacs we have had they would accidentally turn themselves off when going around those spring rubber door stops. In our house the door stops were placed exactly the right height where the rubber tip could press on the “off” portion of the switch. I ended up having to tape a piece of plastic over the switch hole to prevent this, but the T10 will never have that issue at least. Setting Up: Set up was very straight forward, and inside the box with the dock was a plastic base piece that you set on the floor and then place the dock on it, “there’s two raised pieces that have corresponding indentions on the bottom of the base to align it. Then insert the power cord, plug in the base to a wall outlet, you’ll also have to turn on the power which resides under the top plate and then place the robot on the charging base, you’ll see the lights flashing indicating it’s charging. Now the manual says to wait for 6 hours before doing anything else but I went ahead and installed the Android app and proceeded to set up the wireless connection anyway. That was simple enough, just scan the barcode that’s under the top lid with the app and follow the instructions on how to pair and set up the connections. As soon as this was accomplished I was notified that there was a firmware update available and went ahead and had it install that. Using: Ok now it’s time for the cleaning test. I didn’t install the moping attachment as it cannot mop and vacuum at the same time, and if you are using the moping attachment it has to be on a hard floor when turned on “unless you’ve place your base on a hard floor first”, our base is on carpet so I had to carry the robot over to the tile floor of the kitchen/dining area. I started the automated cleaning from the app and the T10 immediately went on a “discovery” mission quickly going around the house mapping each room. It didn’t do much vacuuming during this initial stage but as soon as it finished it went to work. I noticed while it was cleaning that it was very methodical on how it cleaned some areas, going back and forth overlapping just the right amount. While vacuuming the T10 is pretty quiet, it’s not that loud or intrusive and I was able to carry on a phone conversation as it passed by. I also noticed that if it hit a dirty area “or what it thought was dirty it would spend some time in that spot”, other robotic vacs we’ve had did the same and can’t tell if it did a better job on those spots or not. It did a great job getting around chairs, even was able to navigate around and under our dining room chairs without too much issue, our Roombas always got stuck under the chairs. After a good bit the T10 announced it was finished and returned to base to empty. I was curious to how much dirt it had found because I had just very thoroughly vacuumed the floors the day before, land the day before that we had completely gone over all the carpets with our rug shampooer, I didn’t think it would find much of anything after all that. Well when I removed the collection bag “carefully” from the docking station and peered inside the hole I was amazed that it had collected a good bit of debris, we were both shocked and wondered “where the heck did it find all that”, so yes we are very impressed with its ability to find hidden dirt. Next we decided to try out the mopping function so I filled the mopping attachment with purified water, a 1oz of 70% alcohol and a ¼oz of some peroxide cleaner we use. The manual only says purified water but this is what we’ve used for years and works well in our Swifter mop. I installed the mopping attachment and the T10 announced that the moping attachment had been installed, “it also announced that the air freshener piece had been removed too, “”can’t use both at the same time””. We then placed the T10 on our kitchen /dining floor and pressed the on button “we first removed the runner and a couple rugs from the stove and patio door first” and it took off cleaning. Now this doesn’t vacuum while mopping “at least it didn’t sound like it was running the vacuum” but the back end where the moping pad was installed was oscillating pretty intensely. I saw that there was just a slightly damp trail behind it and those dried very quickly “that’s what the 70% alcohol helps with”. The T10 went around and got every spot of tile and went over everything at least twice. It was very careful to get the edge where the carpet meets the tile and if it found a dirty spot that needed more attention it would sit on that spot for a few extra seconds, “we were pretty impressed by this”. After it finished mopping it announced that it was returning to base, the problem with that is the base is on carpet and it would not cross the carpet with the mopping unit installed. I simply reached down, pulled out the mopping attachment and installed the air freshener attachment and it immediately returned to base. I used the disposable mopping pad for the first run and was surprised just how dirty that one came out too. Conclusion: We were very impressed with how well the T10 cleaned floors “still wondering where it found all the dirt it collected” and the mopping attachment did a really good job at getting the tile floor clean. Our kitchen Dining area, once you take out the island and dining table “it has a throw under it” the tile area it cleaned was around 140sqft, and it completed it in about 20 minutes. The vacuuming of the house took longer, as our house is 1600sqft with about 1000sqft of carpet it can get to. The 3d mapping was really neat to check out and it inserted a good bit of the furniture it encountered “none of the others came close to doing this” and was more accurate in mapping out the house than the others we’ve had that advertise this feature. You can also send the T10 out on patrol and view what the camera sees on the app, plus you can control it like a remote controlled vehicle “just a lot slower” with a live video feed “that’s a pretty neat feature and fun to play around with. The only downsides I found was that you’ll have to make sure small cables “like USB phone charging cables” are put up as it did get caught on one by the desk in the office, but that was the only time it got caught and did avoid all the others, apparently it just didn’t see this one. Also the debris/dust bags are not available on Ecovacs website and they let me know that bags for the other models they sell will not fit it, hopefully those arrive soon. Lastly, it cannot mop and vacuum at the same time, and if your base is on carpet it cannot return to the base after mopping and will sit and continually try to cross as though it’s confused “probably fixable in a firmware update”. Overall if you are looking for an excellent robotic vacuum that does an excellent job of cleaning “and even mopping” then this new Ecovacs T10 Plus would be on the top of my list to check out and worth paying the extra for it.

So got this one to replace and older ECOVAC. This particular model was quite the upgrade in many factors. The biggest being the auto empty! So this unit replaced a older many year old model - it was just a vacuum that ran daily. I had to constantly empty the collector and find it when it got stuck/lost! So this is quite the upgrade - The bin also is the charger so that works well. Upon delivery, setup was quite easy. Just couple parts to assemble(ramp to base, power plug) and it was ready to go. The first thing the robot does is setup the app, So launch app, scan barcode, connect to WIFI - and we are off. Took just a couple minutes to do that and a quick firmware update. On to mapping the basement, this has always taken some time for my other models. But this model literally only took about 5 minutes if that. We are talking 1000 sqft basement, 4 rooms with 3 doors to navigate. The app showed the layout and I was then able to label the room names(bedroom, bathroom, theater, gameroom) and specify the floor type(carpet/tile/wood). I then setup the scheduled cleaning for every other day. I typically schedule for morning since they can be a little loud but this unit is the quietest model of the 5 robots(3 vendors) I've owned. So it runs at 7am! I never hear it! There are options for cleaning areas or area sequencing which can be a big deal for some(office first in the morning before you come in) I've literally not even messed with the unit since. I did have 1 issue where a string got wrapped around the side brush and had to remove that. Otherwise its been smooth vacuuming. My son tends to leave the blankets hanging off the chairs in the theater and the old unit would get caught and jammed on the corner. But that has not happened yet! It always finds its way home to the base as well. The app sends me a notification when the unit starts the scheduled task and if there are any problems. One feature my son finds interesting is the built in camera. Able to see the room from the robot perspective and last location.

As someone who has owned robot vacuums for quite a while I am sold on the convenience of these vacuums. If you are a pet owner it really helps keep up with the pet fur on a regular basis. Ecovacs are not inexpensive, but our prior model Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI held up extremely well and is still performing great even as we upgraded to this T10 Plus model. The quality of their products is a good return on one’s investment for something that will be used on a regular basis. The setup of the Deebot T10 Plus is very straight forward and assisted by instructions included in the box and the mobile app. I did allow the T10 to fully charge prior to our first use. Compared to other brands, Ecovacs does an exceptional job of mapping out one’s home and avoiding obstacles such as cables, shoes and other objects. It’s rather interesting that it utilizes the same technology used in self driving cars. There is no hesitation on this vacuum’s part, it travels along in a very precise manner as it navigates around furniture and cabinets. We’ve never had any issue with it scraping or marking up anything that it comes in contact with. In vacuum mode it takes about 70 minutes for it to clean about 750 s.f. of our home. Mopping mode takes about 30 minutes as there is less square footage to cover. In comparing the features of the Deebot T10 Plus to our older Deebot Ozmo T8 I’d have to say that I think the key question is to ask yourself how much you want the convenience of the auto-empty station. If the price difference is a key factor, I would not hesitate to purchase the T8 as it is a very easy-to-use product and emptying and cleaning the vacuum’s dirt bin is a quick process. I feel the vacuuming and mopping results are quite similar between the two models. The T8 is a bit more accessible to me as it charges on its docking station since it pulls in forward, as compared to the T10 that pulls in backwards to connect to the auto-empty station. The white color of the T10 has a nice look, but does tend to show a bit more dust than the black models. I could not find anything in the documentation that indicated if the vacuum would return to the docking station to auto-empty its dust bin during a cleaning cycle so I’d assume it does not. The T10 has a mobile air freshener which is a pretty clever idea to leave a nice scent behind as it cleans. I’m guessing that this and the dust bag should last for quite some time, but they are accessory items that will need to be purchased in the future. On Best Buy’s website it looks like the disposable dust bags run about $20 for a set of three. I wish Ecovacs would provide a larger cleaning brush with longer bristles as the one included is kind of small. The Ecovac app is fairly user friendly and has a lot of information regarding the mapping of your house, ability to customize cleaning settings, maintenance of the vacuum and video management capabilities. I have never used the vacuum’s camera as a video tool, but perhaps those with pets or kids might find this feature useful. I’d highly recommend Ecovac’s products for their technology and quality. We have been satisfied using our prior model that had no auto-empty station, but we may very well end up spoiled with the convenience of this Deebot T10 Plus.

For those who remember the Jetsons Cartoon TV Show, for sure will agree with me once you have the chance to get this really useful and well design unit, correctly designated as “Robotics.” It is amazing the amount of technology that can be found in this little fella. What amazes me the most are 3 clever features. First, I didn’t know it has video Camera capability. It is very clear and defined and you can enable and watch your home while the robot is cleaning, this is a really cool feature! Second, a real 3d mapping where you can see all the furniture that was found. The third is the amount of garbage it is able to collect. My wife just replaced our carpet downstairs, for tile, and before that with the carpet she used to vacuum twice a week, but with the tile it looks like she noticed the dust more often so she is practically sweeping and mopping 3 times a week. My hope was to prove her how powerful was this unit to suction the dust and make a good overall cleaning, and after it finished vacuuming and area of 1100sq, the dirt bin was pretty full. Just showed her the amount of dirt was enough to build her confidence in the cleaning capacity of this unit. The setup is really simple, you just follow the no brainer instructions with 8 steps, look for a location for the Station/Dirt Bin and base, attach the brushes, take out the protector rubber, install the app, create the user/pw, scan the QR code that is on top of the unit (you will have to open the lid), and connect it to the wifi. As it always happens with all the units that connect to your wifi in some point it will ask you to connect your phone to the unit listed in you wifi devices as ecovacs, and from there choose your wifi network and PW. The Wifi network it uses is 2.4GHz. And that is it. Mine came with 80% of charge and that was enough to start use it immediately. The specs states that a fully charge will take 6 hours, but after a full and deep cleaning, about 45 min, from 100% charge, it took 30% of the batter charge, and from there to complete the charge in about 1 hour. The first round is for mapping the area, attached some pics where you can see the map, it does a rapid pass through the house, and in few minutes, a basic map of my Living room, entrance, kitchen, dining room and family room was traced, and you can see it in the app. You can choose the area you want to focus the cleaning or simply choose auto and will do all. The robot has the regular vacuuming noise, not too loud. Once it finished It returned Station to recharge, and I think if he notices it is full of dust it will automatically clean it with a suction noise from the Dirt Bin. There is also a setting in the app where you can clean it if you want. The cleaning bags of the Dirt Bin can be found on Best Buy And like my daughter’s sphero toys, you can have this robot on patrol mode on your home and checked the camera. I love the white color of my unit, it makes it look so professional! And it has a mobile air freshener which leaves a nice odor while it is cleaning. Then I found another pleasant surprise, it mops as well! it comes with a mop tank that you can attach with a single click by removing the vacuum piece. You cannot have both features working at the same time. The specs recommend to fill the mopping attachment with purified water. Once the mopping attachment was installed and working, I noticed that the moping pad was spinning pretty fast. This little fella did the mop wonderfully, it covers every spot of my tile, and it seems to me that it did it more than once. The app has a lot of more cool features where you can customize the cleaning modes, times, and select specific areas to clean, etc. So, to recap, a pretty accurate map tracer, video camera, powerful dirt suction, auto empty Dirt Bin Station which is a really cool feature, and finally mopping feature, that makes us feel very satisfied with this Vacuum Robot.

This is our 4th robot vacuum and by far the best. We've owned it for almost 6 months and use it every day mainly because we have 3 dogs. I love how thorough it cleans on max. My old vacuum would vacuum twice but would go over the same spot i the same direction. This vacuum goes North to South the first pass then East to West the final pass with perfect lines for a thorough cleaning. It also avoids obstacles if i forget to pick them up. The mopping does an excellent job as well. It vibrates as it mops to give an even better cleaning. Has a detailed customizable map and can be used with our Alexa devices. Has a video camera that we occasionally use to check on our dogs. Love the automatic dust bin and it lasts over a month even using it every day with 3 dogs. It also has air freshener that you can smell but is not overpowering. Surprisingly quiet. My old vacuum occasionally had docking issues but this one is perfect every time. We love this vacuum and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

A tad pricey but amazing none the less. Vacuums and mops very well, maps and labels the house, avoids carpet when mopping, automatically empties itself and great battery life.

This is my first robot Vacuum, and I could not be happier with ECOVACS. First, the setup process was easy and the app simple to setup. After installing the air freshener (THANK YOU FOR THIS!!), the first run with map your house/apt. You can setup barriers for the vacuum to avoid (vacuum or mopping) within the app, as well. After the first mapping is down, you can utilize the 3D House Map, which is extremely cool. This map can be edited with icons you can add in (furniture, beds, appliances, etc.). Within the app, you can also monitor the status of its main components and it even gives an estimate of how many hours of use left (approx.). As far as cleaning goes, it does a fine job. After a cleaning run, it automatically empties itself in the dustbin within the main hub. The device does an excellent job of collision detection and course correction, as well. Honestly, zero complaints. I am very pleased with Ecovacs T10 Plus and look forward to a cleaner apartment, with less effort on my part.

Good robot vacuum with some caveats

Over the years I've owned a LOT of robot vacuums, installed them in many relatives houses and generally had good experience with most of them depending on the capabilities and what I'm looking to do. I was excited for the DEEBOT T10+ as having that mopping functionality will help in general at keeping my floors in a better place than they have been to this point. Setup was pretty straightforward, very standard for most 'smart home' products at this point. Download and install the app, let it connect to the local access point of the device, push the wifi config for your home, then let it update itself and it's good to go. It's worth noting that this vacuum as I've noticed with previous gen Ecovacs, requires 2.4GHz network, if you have a 5GHz network only you will not be able to connect. It seems like an odd oversight considering the inexpensiveness of WIFI technology at this point. Fortunately this one, unlike the older ecovacs I own, is intelligent enough to discover the 2.4GHz network if you have both. The setup process includes some voice prompts from the vacuum that I noticed are especially loud. More on this in a moment. Once it spends a while charging, you kick off the initial vacuum/discovery functionality. This vacuum has very advanced discovering and mapping capabilities and from my experience tends to notice lower profile items that might have been bumped into or run over by previous gen vacuums from varying vendors. A note on the power switch for this device. It has been moved under a lid on the top of the vacuum rather than residing on the side where I've had issues with some vacuums running into things and turning themselves off. I feel like this is a great forward thinking function that was needed on many smart vacuums. The vacuuming does a good job, it doesn't seem to be any more loud or distruptive than any other smart vacuum that I've owned, with the exception of the previously mentioned voice prompts. According to the Ecovacs website you should be able to disable and/or reduce the volume of those voice prompts, but I've not been able to find the volume control in the app or anywhere on the vacuum. I run the vacuum every other night just to keep up with the pet hair in my home. Overall it's a good vacuum, no major concerns outside of that annoying volume control thing for the voice prompts.

This is the fourth robotic vacuum I have owned and is by far the best! It maps the house very fast and cleans thoroughly in record time on one charge. This Deebot doesn’t have any problems with rugs and even increases speed to clean rugs better. It is also very quiet!

I have used these types of robot vacuums for several years now and have become very acquaint to how they work and what types of upgrades they should and could have. This model seems to be an improvement over previous models for several different reasons. First though, the unboxing of this robot vacuum was very thought out. In the past, it seemed as if everything was sort of jumbled together, but this one was different. It has very easy to read, step by step instructions around how to get your vacuum up and running, where to position and how to control/schedule cleanings. This was an improvement over others in my experience. Mapping and technique of the vacuum also seems to be improved, I notice much, much less bumping into objects and more visually noticing path conflicts compared to older models. This makes me think that there has been some extensive AI work completed in the background to enhance to noise that these types of vacuums typically generate. The empty bin in a nice touch too, as I am not obligated to manually empty after every cleaning, it can go several cycles without me feeling the canister should be cleaned out. Lastly the design, my previous robot vacuum seemed very clunky, and only after a short amount of time being used, seemed to get very sluggish in movement. This newer model does not seems to, at least initially, have that type of break down, I could be wrong. The sleek design glides across my floors with less noise than other models. All in all, I have had a very good experience with this brand and more specifically this model of robot vacuum. The mapping seems very accurate, the dust bin is a nice feature I haven't used before and the set was a breeze. Highly recommended.

This robot vac is great option for anyone in the market. It mapped both floors quickly and accurately, does a solid job vacuuming, it's easy to maintain and the app is user friendly. I would have given it 5-stars but at times I feel like the mopping feature isn't to the level I'd expect for a device in this price range and category, as occasionally the saturation levels fluctuate.

I'll start by saying this is an amazing robot. It has excellent build quality and is extremely intelligent. I loved it from the minute I unboxed it, so I definitely wanted it to win. It started mapping our home smartly and quickly, and when i chose certain rooms, it did a great job cleaning. However, the center of our home is our dining room, with a large area rug which is black trimmed oriental rug. It is not possible to get from the front of our house to the back without crossing that rug. Sadly, the DeeBot T10+ constantly gave drop sensor errors and shut down, or it would freeze up and spin around in circles every time it gets on that rug. I tested it with a whole bunch of bright LED lights shining on the rug, and it worked fine. Sadly I can't illuminate the rug to that extreme. I tried it during sunny afternoon with blinds open, it still failed. I called support and was extremely pleased at how fast they answered and tried all they could to assist. However, they confirmed that the drop sensors on this unit are not capable of traversing a carpet like mine with deep black trim and markings. Such a responsive and friendly tech support is rare these days, so I truly hated to return this robot to Best Buy. But I had no choice. The one i purchased to replace it was an irobot J7+ and it has absolutely no trouble with the black trimmed carpet. It's a decent machine, but I would have preferred to keep this T10+. I highly recommend it to anyone who does not have black carpets.

      Hi,
Thank you for the good review and we are sure this feedback will greatly help us with the improvements to our products and services. The T10 plus model is installed with the "Anti-drop" sensor and the dark color carpet would trigger the sensor and cause the Deebot unable to clean the black color carpet. Works well on most surfaces. First of all you need to have realistic expectations with these robot vacuums. They don't replace your existing vacuum, but they do help keep things cleaner. They do well in the open areas but miss things along walls or around chairs. We have 4 different surfaces--wood, tile, short loop carpet and thick carpet. I'd give it 5 stars on the wood, 4 stars on the tile and short loop carpet, and 2 stars on the thick carpet--it just misses too much stuff on the thick carpet. We don't have pets, but it definitely gets the long hair from the gals in the house, so we clean hair from the roller about every other time it cleans, which is super easy with the included tool. It does a good job at obstacle avoidance, but occasionally gets stuck on an electric cord, especially smaller ones. It maps the house pretty quickly and we have separate maps for upstairs and downstairs. It can do most of 1 level on a single charge--Each level in the house is 2200 sq ft--returning to empty the dust bin every 15 minutes (or as often as you set it to). The video feature is fun to get to check things out when away. Haven't used the mop feature yet--not really the reason we bought this model.

Having had this product now for a month. I really enjoy it. I do wish I would have went for the more upgraded model with the more industrial mop brushes as I have a dog and three small children and messes are abound. The mop pad included is a very simple one similar to that of the Swiffer. That is really my major criticism. I enjoy the mapping of the house and the automation with nest. If I ask it to clean a specific room, it will go straight to that room and clean only that room and come back to the charger. It helps especially after dinner time. Depending upon what your needs are, I think I would recommend the upgrade model. If you don't have young kids or pets. This model will be for you. I got it on sale for around 500 and would not pay more for it.
