    Bought the cover because it was on super clearance, since my son and I are huge Star Wars fans. The light up doesn't work as well as I'd like, but since it was cheap I can't complain too much.

    The instructions on the box tell you to turn your flashlight on for notifications. Unfortunately, This doesn't cause the whole phone case to light up when you receive a text message.
