The game is absolute perfection and no micro transactions make it’s even better than perfection! Its art style is amazing, beautiful colors clashing, graphics are good not great but barely even notice when your playing.

Overhyped? Nah. Very rewarding game for those who don’t give up. Remember, it’s not just brute force beating bosses. Cheesing and summoning still counts as a win. Just have fun!

Honestly didn't expect much out of Elden Ring besides more Souls gameplay. Boy was I blown away. You start off with an improved character creator. Not too different than DS3 or Bloodborne's, but at the same time small improvements add up to a much nicer looking design and more realistic looking faces. And while the class options are all largely the same as DS3's, they all look and feel new and unique with their creative designs (special mention for the Prisoner). Getting into the actual game, the basic gameplay largely is "new Dark Souls", with a variety of quality of life changes. The world really is stunning; when you first witness it emerging from the cave it looks vast, and that view is only the tip of the iceberg. While the graphics are about as detailed as any other Fromsoft game, it looks simply amazing due to the vibrant lighting and generally meticulous world design. The combat, central to these games, is as great as you'd expect and even has some improvements. It's now much easier and more viable to infuse your weapon with various damage types, and you can simultaneously change its weapon skill to match your playstyle. Due to the open world, one can tackle dungeons in the order they choose, and can also often progress to new subcontinents in multiple ways. This helps players put off harder encounters until later, which is helpful with some of the bosses being absurdly difficult.

This is a huge game. Great graphics and tons of places to explore. Other than that, it's a very hard game. If you're hoping to move forward with the main story, you'll be disappointed. By the time you are able to do anything at all other than die, you'll have forgotten there was even a story at all. Mostly spend your time going around and killing the easiest thing you can find just to get enough points to upgrade. Cool game... too much work to get anywhere in it though. I just want to relax and play, but this game requires too much input and work to get anywhere. I will recommend it for hard-core gamers who are okay with the constant grind and find games.

Amazing game. Like a seriously fantastic experience. You can enjoy it with friends but even by yourself its a breathtaking open world and challenging but beatable bosses.

Probably one of the finest--yet challenging--open world games ever created. If you're a fan of RPG fantasy or Souls-like games, this one is for you.

Looks like Best Buy dropped the ball for pre-orders but I bought it after the game released. Took about 10 minutes to receive the code in my email and had no issues applying it on Steam. This is my first From Software game after bing convinced by a friend to try it. It's a learning curve and difficult but once you get the hang of it it's really fun and addicting. Have about 37 hours put onto the game and still going strong. Closest thing I can compare it to is a Rated M version of Breath of The Wild on expert mode lol

Great open world game that pushes the boundaries of what a traditional soulsborn game is like.

So far loving the game. No issues playing, lag, bugs etc that I have seen. I received email with code within minutes so no issues there at the moment. Great game, kinda tough..Thank goodness for online resources..haha

An amazing game! So challenging and frustrating. Platinum trophy on PS5 and want to do it on pc as well. Still not quite there yet but I hope to be there soon!

Fantastic game, loved the Dark Soul series and this one is the cherry on top. Favorite game of the series without a doubt

This is one of the best games I've even played on my PC. I have put over 600 hours into this game. With DLC right around the corner, its only gonna get better.

What can I say except, game of the year? If you haven't played it yet and like the Dark Soul esque games I would highly recommend you pick this up!

Great Game. Loved Elden Ring. If you are a fan of the Souls Game then you want to try this one. It has a great story, but like souls games it has difficult bosses but so worth it.

Great game. This is the first from software game I was ever able to beat. Can't wait for the DLC that is coming!!!

The game is superb, but BestBuy delayed releasing keys, then delayed the pre-order bonuses even longer. I would recommend a different retailer if you want to play on release.
