disappointing delivery

I purchased an insigina washer and dryer and the installation kits and installation by Best Buy, i am also a total tech member. They came for the installation on December 10th.
1st they were 45 minutes late.
2nd the installer plugged the cord for the dryer into a live outlet before hooking it to the dryer and almost electrocuted himself.
3rd he got frustrated because he was using a power drill to try to close the clamps on the vent hose and it was too powerful for the screw and wouldn't work.
4th he wouldn't listen to me and move the washer out of the way so he could attach the vent hose to the dryer without being between it and the wall, they only sell 8ft hoses and it wouldn't reach with him there. He mangled the hose, left the dryer 3 ft from the wall, and the minute he left, it fell off at the dryer.
5th he didn't level either the washer or the dryer and they wobbled...
6th the second guy complained the whole time he was downstairs, the basement was too hot, why did i buy the cheap appliances, his stomach hurt...
I actually have most of the install on video as i have a camera in my basement monitoring my hot water tank, unfortunately it didn't record when live wires touched each other because it popped the breaker.
Because the vent hose fell off, I ended up pulling out the washer to get to the dryer and reattached the hose and levelled both machines, but since the hose was all squished, an independent service tech said the dryer won't dry properly and to call BestBuy to have the squished hose replaced and attached correctly. So I called on 12/12/22 and also described the installation via the survey they sent to my email. When I called to get them to replace the hose their installer ruined, they made an appointment for last Friday the 16th in the window of noon to 8:00 p.m. and I explained to them I couldn't be at the house until 5:30 because I can't take any more time off of work. The person I talked to said "it's okay, no problem, I put a note in there. When they call you to tell you they're on their way. Just let them know and they'll rearrange your schedule and be there after 5:30." After that, a manager called on Thursday 12/15/22 in response to my survey review and apologize profusely said it would be taken care of on the 16th and she said she was going to send me out a gift card for my troubles and that she would call back on Saturday to follow up. On Friday they called me at 3:45 and said they were 20 minutes away. I explained to them I can't be there until 5:30. They told me they can't wait an hour and a half for me and I explained to them it was a reinstall because the original installer screwed everything up and I was told that being there at 5:30 was okay, the guy told me " I've got to call you back". He called me back and said his supervisor told him he can't do that because I was going to be the last call of the day, and that they'd reschedule me for Monday. I called on Saturday to verify that it was rescheduled for Monday and it was not. The lady that I talked to scheduled it for Monday and told me she would email the dispatch team directly and explain why i could not be there until after 5:30pm. I also got an email saying that I needed to schedule the second part of the installation (?) so I just chose Friday because I'm off on Friday because of Christmas. I got a text yesterday saying the window for my install on today was between 2 and 4:00pm, so I called again and the lady that I talked to said my installation for today was a complete washer install and I also had an appointment for Friday. I explained to her i only need the dryer hose reinstalled, the washer is fine, but I can't be there until 5:30. She said she wouldn't have had the right team or parts today because it was scheduled as a washer install and moved everything to Friday. I am very frustrated with the whole thing, and my brain keeps replaying the installer plugging wires not hooked to anything into a live outlet and it sparking, popping, and buzzing. I wish the lady i talked to on Thursday would have given me her name and a return number, or at least called to follow up like she said she was going to. this is the second install I've had from best buy since October, and i definitely would not recommend based on my experience.

I love my Whirlpool dryer it gets very hot dry my clothes faster. It has a big deep tub as well I love that it has a wrinkle and fluff airflow I highly recommend whirlpool

The washer and dryer are good; however, we had an absolutely awful installation experience. The installers came several hours late, which happened to be about 6:30 on a Friday night. We were then unable to communicate with them and they kept saying "not my job" for the install. In the end, they left the equipment in the middle off the laundry room floor, half installed and completed destroyed our hard wood floors with deep grooves in the wood. When I called Best Buy, the rescheduled installers for a week later (who did a fantastic job), but we are still working with the claims people for the floors and still have not gotten reimbursed for the install that never happened. It has been a nightmare. The only positives are that the second install crew was great (and mortified to see the floors).

The delivery crew were from a third-party company, not Best Buy. The dryer came off the truck damaged, the side panel was smashed in near the bottom (see picture). The damage was in the back so I was hoping it would not be a problem, but when we tried running the dryer for the first time, the drum was making contact with the inside of the smashed panel so it couldn't be used without repair. It took about a week for the replacement to come so we had to hang dry our clothes, which was alright to do short-term. We had a washer also installed with the original dryer so when they switched the dryers, rather than moving the washer out of the way, they scooched the dryer by, scratching the face panel of the washer in the process. They were quick installing and came on-time, but the damage they caused was frustrating.

I was very upset that they would not use the telescopic vent. It required a little trim which they said they couldn't do. Instead they installed a standard hose which now makes the dryer stick out just a bit too far and the garage door locking mechanism swipes across the corner creating a gauge in the metal. Not happy!

Installation was unacceptable. The Geek squad left my dryer improperly installed and not functioning. Further, there was no follow up or reconciliation for fees incurred due to the Geek squads incompetence. I've been emailing back and forth for over a month trying to get Best Buy to stand behind their customer service promises. I'm appalled as an elite plus member to be treated in this manner.
