the wheel is working better than expected and my expectations were high.

I got my wheel last week and was able to take it out for a 10 mile ride. I got the wheel because I end up in severe back pain when going up inclines and I have not been able to ride for a few years. I found initially that it seemed to assist more than I wanted it to, but after doing the calibration (properly this time) it made a huge difference. I found that it would give me a quicker start from a standing stop and would kick in on the inclines (just what I needed). I also found on the lowest setting that once I reached 8 or 9mph then it would no longer assist, so I felt like I was still having to do some work and not just coasting along under the power of the wheel. I cannot wait for the temperatures to cool down more (been over 100f) so I can get out on it more! Love it!

I bought two of these wheels for wife and I. I followed the video instructions (very easy to install) but they did not work. I think my issue is the piece that is suppose to be in contact with our front forks did not extended at all and the video said to extended it as much as possible. Our forks are thicker than normal forks because they have shock absorber built in. I contacted the company sending them a picture of the forks. They reply asking me to make sure that it was turned on and that the arm was touching the fork and said they would have there engineering department look at my picture. I tried reinstalling them and recalibrating them but they still did not work. I email the factory again showing pictures proving everything was on and that the batteries were charge but did not get a response back. Since I only had 15 days to return the items I decided to not wait any longer and return them for a refund. I did read all of the reviews before purchasing these wheels and was looking forward to using them. I guess I am going to try the Orbital Wheel to see if that will work.
