It a great classic christmas movie, we all enjoyed it!

Will Ferrell is awesome as Buddy the Elf. This movie is hilarious, heart-warming, and shows Will Ferrell at his best. It's an enjoyable movie to watch around Christmas time...or any time, really.

It's so funny a must have for your holiday collection

Who doesn't love ELF? The classic snowball fight, the forever repeated line: SANTA, I know him. A great holiday movie to get in the spirit of the Christmas Season. I am so glad BEST BUY had this movie on the sh-elves.

I have been filling in my Blu-Ray collection with movies I realized I did not own. Some I realize were better in the fantasy of my memory than in reality. This held up well to the initial reaction when it first came out. The story is clever and well scripted and the right balance of child-like innocence and grown-up understanding. It is interesting to watch an early effort by this director that has gone on to fill in a varied resume of films from special effect laden outings (Ironman) to simply low key gems (Chef). You can see the use of early special effects and stop-motion with clever scaling of elves to full size humans and animated storybook characters. This is one of the better films that matched Will Ferrell's talents and it was a pleasure to see the vintage Bob Newhart comic sense of timing when he seldom was on the big screen. The film is dripping with charm throughout from the very first credits to the decorations created by Elf. Great family entertainment that may not make a parent or grandparent cringe if you appreciated films like those created by National Lampoon and others.

Such a great movie. It had been a while since I watched it. Decided to show it at a holiday party and realized (too late) that I no longer had a copy. Was glad to find it in stock at my local Best Buy!

If you are one of the few who haven't experienced ELF, you are overdue to join the rest of us who adore this Christmas Confection. Sweet, innocent holiday spirit is everywhere in this imaginative story of a baby adopted by elves who leaves The North Pole in search of his birth parents. Will Farrell has never been this consistently engaging as he is in this role. This story is a true gift of the season.

Great price @ Bestbuy and definitely a funny holiday classic that can be watched every year. It never gets old and always makes us laugh ad smile.

Our young adult family members first showed us this movie; we thought -- "Will Ferrell? isn't this going to be dumb and just a bunch of stupid slapstick? How long will we have to watch this before we can wander away?" Well, there is a lot of slapstick but it seems to be "appropriate", and the movie has become one of our (few) Christmas favorites.

Love this movie, and the blu ray transfer is fine. The best part of the purchase was the black Friday sale price for a simple bluray!

Since we didn't own the original DVD and had to wait for it to appear on TV during the Christmas Season, we purchased it from Best Buy at a great price. You guys are great...never stop selling DVDs / BluRays like you have stopped selling CDs. Bad job...bring back CDs! Nothing like an archived, physical disc for our digital media.

Best movie to get into the Christmas spirit! Blue ray makes everything look really clear. The sound also is amazing

So happy to have this for everyday “holidays!” So full of laughs!! My daughter lives on the east coast and I am on the west coast so we typically celebrate the holidays a month early for better airfare selection/days off availability- we watch Elf every time she comes home at the end of the year!! Great fun-

Elf,since it’s arrival has simply become one of the top ten Christmas movies everyone must see every season. It has wonderful elements of comedy and charm for all ages throughout the movie. Sharp dialogue and excellent casting make Elf simply a Fantastic movie and arguably Will Ferrell’s best role.

This movie gets better every time we watch this! It’s an excellent family movie!

I really enjoyed seeing this. You get not only the holiday classic but also receive a little soundtrack sampler in a slick case holding it all together. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys Elf or has someone they know who enjoys candy in their spaghetti.
