I charge it full and easily it will show a low level battery already within the first 30 min. Not sure if i just have a one bad product or is it really like this for all.

Keeps drink hot for hours

It's a little pricey, but it does what it needs to do so I would recommend it. It definitely is worth the money spent on it, it's better than a lot of other cups that claim to keep your drinks hot.

Great, but wish charge lasted longer

Just wish the charge would last longer. My mug doesn’t hold the charge all through my 20 minute walk to work.

This mug has a nice display and keeps the drink warm at the specified temperature. The lid is a bit frustrating - I don't like the way you have to push down to open and close for drinking.

Don't waste your money

What it can't do is heat up a room temperature drink to a desired temperature. The battery also only lasts about 2-3 hours if the cup is left on. My yeti tumbler can hold more liquid, keep my drink hot for longer than 3 hours, and is much cheaper than this cup. The ember mug is also made of a matte plastic which is super easy to scratch. The sleek look was ruined once I used the cup holders in my car.

The Ember is designed to stabilize an already hot drink down to your specific set temp (so it's not too hot or too cold) and isn't designed to heat up liquid - for best results, we recommend pouring in hotter than your set temp, around 165°F and above. It keeps my tea hot at a higher temp with active heating for about an hour. Even then, as long as I keep the lid closed when not drinking, it will keep it hot for at least a few hours. The car charger is a game changer if you want more battery life while driving to work, school, etc.

This mug is a must for true coffee lovers, or even tea! Easily added to iPhone using the Ember app. Very intuitive. Keeps drink hot enough to burn your tongue for 2 hours. The charge coaster is fantastic.

The battery life is modest at best, and the battery will recharge itself even if it has only drained 1%, which may impact the longevity of the battery. Mine lives on its charger most of the time, so battery concerns are minor at this time.
