It keeps my beverage at just the right temperature. Battery last for 1 drink. Love the app feature that tells you when it is at the perfect temp.

I love this mug I use it everyday for work and keeps my coffee at the perfect temperature wish battery life was longer though.

Amazing cup has several heating option for certain drinks, cap broke with in the week but company sent a replacement one

Good i guess for peole who drink coffee really slow and want it hot for up to 3 hours or if you go grocery shopping in winter and leave it in car orher than that its useless for the price!

We returned this product without opening it. It was pricey and we returned it and got a TV instead.

I bought it as fathers day gift for my dad, For starters he loved it since he travelled a lot, it was a nice thing to have handy. The only complaint is the battery life of the mug. If that can be improved upon significantly. it will get my 5 stars maybe lol.

Perfect for taking on the go. Th battery lasts about 2 hours and is great for the morning commute. Unfortunate it doesn’t come with the car cup holder charger but still great

Would not recommend this, for the price the quality is very lacking. The push button lid broke within a month or so of purchasing it (without any abuse or anything) and will no longer stay open. Making matters worse you can't buy the sealed lid online unless you contact Ember directly which is a waste of time, the only lid they do sell online is the "halo" one which is just a circle and is $30, how can you charge so much for something that likely has a cost in the less than $1 range. But to make it worse again, the heating element in the mug causes things to dry on and stick at the bottom which makes it very very hard to clean. Additionally, the bluetooth functions are kinda nice but the notifications often don't work so it's not that helpful. I could see the regular mugs from Ember being good but the travel mug is a joke for the price, I figured it was very high quality given the price point but it's really not that great. Finally, the battery really isn't that good, often times getting close to dead in 40 minutes or so. At this point I may just throw it in the garbage despite having spent like $240 on this and chargers. You are better off saving your money and buying some Stanley vacuum mugs or something like that (you could get like 5 with the price of this).

I ended up returning this product because I didn’t like the way the lip of the cup worked for drinking coffee. I really like the mug for use at home and was hoping this would be a great travel companion.

I received the version 1.0 of this travel mug last year as a birthday present. I am kind of a tech geek guy, so this is right in my area. I love it, love the chemistry behind the phase change materials and so on. But, the "sippy cup" lid has problems. Ember is quick to replace, but it is not clear that the new lids are better than the old one. I purchased a similar mug in white for my wife and between us we have had six lid failures in less than a year. I bought this Mug2 so that I would have something to use while I waited for the replacement lid for my original. Either the new Mug2 lid or the replacement lid, I can't tell them apart, failed this last week as did my wife's white lid. So with three Mugs we have only one working lid. I love the product and Ember is helpful replacing these lids, but it takes a couple of weeks each time and the new ones fail just like the old ones. We don't put anything in our coffee, we don't wash the lids in the dishwasher, we don't drop them. We do drink our coffee on the strong side but I don't think that would be related to lid failure. I enthusiastically endorse the product but be prepared for problems with the lid. The new Mug2 has some interesting updates which are a real improvement over the early model. Ember might consider updates to the lid as well

Great product, innovative lid design to prevent spills. Charging base interchangeable with other ember devices.

It was an early father's day gift for my husband. And he is totally in love with it. It keeps his coffee hot so that he can enjoy it at his own pace, just the way he likes it. Beautiful and sleek looks are a plus. I just hope it was a little cheaper.

I am very impressed with the battery life and overall performance; it's really easy to control, definitely a nice travel mug.

keep my hot drinks hot for almost 3 hours. Use it daily. The mug fits nicely to the cup holder. It is a bit pricy.

Don’t buy it. Has the same sync and battery issues as the first ember travel mug. Too overpriced for short battery life and capacitive touch issues.
