Good price but I put pictures on the drive for gifts and one was returned to me because they couldn't get it to work. I don't know if the others worked or not.

I purchased the Emtec 5 pack 8 Gig flash drives. 4 out of the 5 worked. One was defective. So I only got use of 4 out of the 5. I gave 4 of them to relatives as gifts. I kept the defective one.

Thought these would be good for transferring files between computers but they malfunction quickly. I think I only have 1 of the bunch that still works after 6 months.

One of the flash drive was corrupted. The others were ok. Expected more.

the flash drives Emtec, four to a package, did not work in my computer, windows seven, they were not compatible, with either windows seven nor Windows 8.1, had to return them to the store I could not recommend them not knowing what program they work with..

I bought these to load up with music to play in my car, but after spending hours and hours of ripping CDs to MP3s the stereo in my car will only read these every now and then. The other brands I have load up with no problems, but not these.

These Emtec and Lexar USB drives would not work with an embroidery sewing machine. Machine cannot recognize them. I tried all five. Desk top computer can see them. PNY, San Disk and Micro Center drives do work fine.

Try use all jump drives none of them would for me. Format and diskchk kept coming up errors on drive. Could not use it.

Two of the five did not work and another failed shortly thereafter. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Ever.

I haven't used them all yet but the first one did not work at all.

If you need to share files with a few people or have a lot of back and forth without using the internet.. great buy! Personally bought for office use..

I give pictures to family members for presents so this was a good value.

2.5 stars because I don't expect much out of them and never did, but even with that in mind, they're pretty bad. These are literally the slowest USB drives I've ever used, moving at a tiny fraction of even USB 2.0 speeds. I keep a handful of these around for emergencies and as throw-away drives, but I would not recommend them for any application where speed is even sort of important. (The company's 3.0 drives of this style are also egregiously slow.) I have also had zero luck getting them to work with Windows. They work fine in my Mac with the factory FAT32 formatting, but Windows cannot find a driver for them and the manufacturer doesn't seem to make one available for download. I have not gotten a single drive to register, or had any success with finding a driver to make them do so. The retraction feature is pretty cool, you click the drive open and when you withdraw it from the computer, it automatically retracts. The colors are also nice. I'd consider these if you need a bunch of super cheap drives, speed isn't an issue, you're not storing anything important on them/want to give them to kids or other irresponsible humans, and you don't actually need to use them with a Windows machine (or can actually find the driver). If you need something quick and reliable, spend the money you'd get this set of five for on one solid drive, instead.
