I was not at Best But to purchase this product, however I needed one and had not found what I was looking for. I seen the energizer and I am not up to date on their products, but it was priced rediculously low on sale and it has everything you need with it. I used it 3 times and decided I was quit pleased, in fact I liked it better than the name brand best one I could find, that I had prior to loosing it on a vacation. NOTE: IT HAS STOPPED WORKING, BUT I AM CONFIDENT BEST BUY WILL TAKE IT BACK. HOWEVER I PLAN ON JUST GETTING THE SAME ONE, AS IT HAS A FEEL OF QUALITY IN YOUR HAND AND LOOK OF IT TO THE EYE. THE LEAD WIRE IS WORTHY, IT'S COMPACT FOR ALL IT DOES IS AND I FEEL IT IS A QUALITY PRODUCT. I FEEL I JUST GOT THAT ONE, YOU KNOW THAT HAS AN ISSUE. IF IT LETS ME DOWN ILL REASCEND MY COMMENTS, BUT I AM CONFIDENT IT WILL SERVE ME WELL. IF I QUESTIONED IT AT ALL I WOULD PAY THE EXTRA IN A HEARTBEAT, AS PROBLEMS ARE NOT WORTH SAVING TO ME.

Fast, allows simultaneous import of multiple cards

Purpose for getting card reader: Improve import of camera card import into photo management software (e.g. Adobe Lightroom) Observed results so far: Comparing import from a camera body connection (e.g. Canon G9) vs import from card inserted into the Energizer card reader, the import of a set of photos + video (approx. 3 GB of data) took (on a Macbook Pro 2013 Retina): 3 minutes with the card reader 13 minutes with the camera body connection If you have a variety of card types from different cameras (e.g. an SD card from the Canon G9, a Compact Flash card from a Canon D60), you can insert both cards into the reader and then start a batch import in Adobe Lightroom (see this link for how to do this: http://petapixel.com/2012/06/09/importing-multiple-memory-cards-into-lightroom-at-the-same-time/). This makes getting photos into the photo management software a task that you can start and move on to something else while the batch import takes place, a great time saver. The card reader is small and feels well built, fits easily into the camera bag. One hope was that the reader would be useable directly connected to an iOS device, but the reader does not get sufficient power from the iOS device (tested on iPad 3 with camera connecter USB adapter).

I've had several Memory Card Readers that his has been the best by far. Being a Canon user, the need for a reader that would handle a compact flash disk was paramount. The Energizer fit the bill...nice product.!

My camera refused to download pictures using 3 separate computers. This card reader allowed me to download the pictures without the camera. I didn't lose the 100+ pictures from an overseas vacation. Worth the money.

Right now just using the SD card slot. I was tired of going behind my iMac to plug in cards. This is very fast, and has been reading cards with no issues.

I was really excited to be able to access my memory cards and use the reader to download without having to use the my phone and old devices that I no longer have. I started with trying to download from a 16g microsd and it would never load the photos on my screen to be able to pull them off the microsd. I tried the microsd slot and then with an adapter to see if that would work. The pictures never loaded : (. I tried a regular SD card I had to see if it would work and those loaded fine. I was able to pull them off and clear the SD card all in the same shot. : ). I have other formats (CF) that I have to find and will try with those but have come away a bit unsuccessful with the 35 pic download compared to the 2k+ that I was hoping to access. Not sure if the problem was because of the size of the microSD card but I did leave it for at least an hour waiting for it to load.

This product is fair. I have had to reseat the cable on occasion for windows explorer to show the inserted card but other than that, the device ok and allows a good transfer speed.
