Five Iron Frenzy is definitely a band that requires an introduction, a long and lengthy history lesson followed by many monotonous and somewhat silly facts and stories. Their newest album however was artfully crafted has one heck of a comeback to greet us Ska fans at a time when; lets be honest with ourselves, this music genre should not be alive OR kicking. The album goes above and beyond many of our wildest dreams, which isn't a huge accomplishment with silly Ska fans but something to be kinda proud of either way. Do yourself a favor, you troubadour of brass, you entertainer of sass, buy this album and 4 copies of it; because you'll need to use at least one to break in malicious anger that it took this long for perfection, and another 2 for ninja CD throwing practice.

I've never reviewed an album, and I'm not quite sure I can do FIF any justice. I'm still in disbelief that they are back, and their music is better than ever, with a darker and more mature sound. So Far and Blizzards and Bygones are the highlights of the album for me, as I can sympathize with questions of faith and the struggle that results. A must have and ranks amount the top I own!

I have fond memories of five iron, i can remember seeing the at cornerstone. Apparently I should've left them as memories, while the album is not a bad listen, the overproduction in nearly every song is too much for me to recommend this album.
