This case so far seems to be doing its job. It provides the same protection just as the more expensive brands, but for a whole lot less. I have only been using it for a month and have not had any issues. I would say that a bit of a defect seems to be over the home button. The plastic is wrinkled but no impact on its function. Definitely worth a try for the price.

Case is nice. Did not come it instructions so I had to google ho to open case to insert phone.
Downside is screen protector makes it hard to scan with.
