Extremely happy with laptop. First discovery - battery lasts MUCH longer w/ Bluetooth off so I recommend to use it only when needed. Of course can leave on when connected to power supply. The laptop boots and ready for operation in 10 seconds. Apps open quickly. The sound quality is great. Can adjust bass & treble but have to click thru a few screens to access the controls. I have mine connected to C-DOC (two monitors, keyboard/mouse) using the usb-c to usb-3 adapter AND plugged into the power supply. Amazing that the output to 2 monitors and keyboard & mouse input all through one cable that there is no lag or degradation in quality. Love the full backlit keyboard when using undocked. Super quiet with no HD turning. Once in a while the cooling fan comes on but very quiet. I can't give it a quality score for gaming performance because I use it for office, internet, and music. Docked or undocked I am truly happy with this laptop. I plan to use for many years.

After doing research for ideal DJ laptops, this one was a winner! It was a big screen, bright display, good battery life, and enough RAM to power Serato DJ and a standard DJ controller.

Bought it for audio. Have very little stutter or issues when using reaper and maschine. Have mixed countless songs on it and it holds its own. Great bang for the buck.

I love this computer! Solid state design is an excellent choice for those of us who tend to be a little rough on equipment. Its extremely fast.

I knew how much I planned on spending when I went in. Because of a sale, I was able to get a much better laptop than I had hoped.

According to HP, there are no styli that work with this device. "I'm very sorry but upon checking it here in my end, there is no stylus that is compatible with your Envy M6." The power button is too easy to accidentally press. Mostly, it works okay. I like the separate number pad. Maybe the newer models are better, but I'd avoid this one.
