    Bright, clear, theatre quality!

The images on the screen are so crisp and clear. The options to adjust colors, contrast, and overall omage tone (vivid, cinema, dynamic etc.) really helped dial in the image resolution. Works great in daylight or a room woth lamps on and exceptionally well in a dark room. Highly recommend. The light output has two modes, High for brightest most vivid color, and low (eco) for a slightly less bright image. The fan will of course be louder on high but with a movie playing you cant hear it or notice it above the media playing. And the low (eco) setting is not a significant decrease in viewing quality at all, but it is significantly quieter. Heat output, its what youd expect for a lamp driven Projector putting out such high quality images. 10/10 would highly recommend. For set up, everything was plug and play out of the box, very user friendly. Also if youre an apple tv user the Epson remote actually controlled my apple tv functions so i didnt need to hold two remotes when viewing, a nice added feature as well.

Portable, smart projector, good in ambient light

The Epson Flex CO-FH02 is an excellent general use projector at a good value. It’s lightweight and compact enough to comfortably carry in a suitcase or backpack. It’s bright enough to use in ambient light, and it only takes about 9’ to cast a 92” image. This makes it great for mobile business presentations, because it’s easy to pack and travel with and you don’t need to completely darken the room for people to see what you’re presenting. This also makes it good for tradeshow use, and of course it also works well for the home theater. The built-in speaker is ok in a pinch if the room is fairly silent. It’s reasonably loud and clear for dialogue, and would be fine in a quiet meeting room, but I highly recommend using it with a bluetooth speaker for most other purposes. The one major downside to this projector is that it only has 1 input, which at least is HDMI. The problem is that it comes with a Chromecast/Android TV stick that turns it into a “smart” projector, but it uses up the only input available, so you’ll have to unplug it if you want to hook another source up to it like a PS5, Xbox, or laptop. Fortunately, Android TV works well and is very easy to set up if you already have a Google account. I stream Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, YouTube, HBOMax, ESPN+, Starz, Showtime Anytime, and Epix with great results and 1080P picture quality. The menu system can be snappy at times, but also starts to lag a bit if you’re changing between a lot of apps rapidly. It also comes with Kodi installed, which is fantastic if you know how to use it. However, the 4.3GB of internal storage fills up quickly and there doesn’t seem to be any way to hook up an external hard drive or to expand the internal one. At least wirelessly streaming media from my Android phone to the projector is an easy affair with Chromecast. It even comes with an Android TV remote that has a built-in mic for Google voice searching programs. I’ve only used it a few times, but it works well and is way more convenient than typing on a digital keyboard. Overall, this is an excellent portable smart projector that’s good for general use, but the portability and brightness make it great for business and trade show presentations. It’s bright enough to use in ambient light and casts a sharp picture with good color rendition. I do wish there were more than 1 input, but the Android TV streaming works great and at least the price point won’t break the bank. Highly recommended. PROS - 3,000 lumens - Relatively light and compact - 92” picture from 9’ distance - Excellent brightness, good in ambient light - Easy to fit in a suitcase or backpack - Built-in speakers are somewhat usable - Rated up to 300” picture - Chromecast remote control with Google voice command - Works great with Android phones - Sharp 1080P picture - Good color - Easy to setup and use - Works well with bluetooth speakers and soundbar - Can upload your own custom image/logo for the start-up screen CONS - Only 1 input (HDMI) - No lens cover - Menu system can freeze when switching between too many apps rapidly - 4.3GB hard drive is surprisingly not enough - No external hard drive input

    A Great Streaming Projector

I’ve wanted a simple projector with a good resolution to watch games or movies on. When I saw that this model came with androidtv I jumped at the chance to put it through its paces. We have two other TVs that we use androidtv on already, so we are familiar and happy with the interface. Setup was straightforward, although I was initially surprised that the androidtv was not built-in to the projector, but rather it’s a USB stick that plugs into the projector. I think this might be a better route to go then built-in because then you are able to use a different stick if you weren’t too happy with this setup or if it failed. I will say up front that one sticking point some users might have been the limitation of ports. You only have the one HDMI that the streaming stick plugs into. So, if you are looking for a simple streaming device/projector that will run just about any streaming service then this is for you. On the other hand, if you wanted to plug in multiple devices say some gaming systems, or other video inputs then you will be limited to the one HDMI input. On to the important part, the picture is great, I tried out some football and baseball games they looked amazing. We streamed from YouTube TV, Prime Video, Crunchyroll, Netflix, and HBO Max and everything looked great. It felt like we were at the movies with how large the image was. I didn’t have any issues seeing dark images even when it was very bright in the room. You have a few settings you can tweak but I was ok just using the video presets to find a color tone I liked. Images move smoothly, and I didn’t notice image artifacts or tearing that you sometimes see on other devices. The colors were vibrant, and dark areas were not 100% dark, but close. I tried it in the room we are probably going to keep it in, and we measured out that it was about a 120” screen, which was very impressive. We tried it again in my living room where we currently have a 75” screen mounted on the wall and the projected screen was about 4x larger and still with a great vibrant screen. I am very tempted to redoing my living room setup to have this in that room since it’s the largest wall in our home. Sound is good. It comes from the small speakers on the projector, but it is plenty loud. I had to turn down the volume during some of the games I was watching. Dialogue is clear, and action in movies comes through. There is no real bass obviously, so you don’t get the rumbling in explosions and action shots. It has Bluetooth connectivity to an external speaker, but I did not get a chance to set that up yet. I know some soundbars have Bluetooth capabilities so that would be nice to setup to get the bass going. This is a great simple projector that we are going to get some use out of. Image is clear, sound is good, setup is super simple, and it is lightweight and portable. I can’t wait to use it outside in a couple of weeks when the weather cools down a bit more. We need to buy an outdoor screen, and we can have an outdoor movie night for the family or neighborhood. This is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a great, simple projector.

The Epson CO-FH02 comes in at a competitive price that offers impressive picture quality for first-time home theater users without breaking the bank. Epson did not skimp out on important features either like color brightness (100% RGB), and 3,000 Lumens of brightness that is wrapped up in a sleek compact design. The only drawback is no built-in digital audio output for Dolby Digital Atmos surround sound (which can easily be remedied with a Blu-Ray player or a streaming device that supports digital audio output). If you’re looking for a bang for the buck projector at this price point the EpsonEpiq Vision Flex CO-FH02 it’s definitely it. 1080p resolution Lamp life rated up to 6,000hrs on high mode. On eco mode doubles up to 12,000hrs. 3,000 lumens of color and white light output Built-in 5watt speaker that is loud enough for a presentation. Android Tv Stick with Remote Remote control to control the projector. X1 HDMI Port X1 USB A Port Even at 1080p resolution the Epson EpiqVison still manages to deliver an impressive picture quality that not only looks good but is also plenty bright for a dimly lit room. For your streaming media needs, Epson included a Google Tv stick that is also Bluetooth-capable to wireless stream audio to your favorite pair of headphones or wireless speaker. For picture quality adjustments you get 4 Picture profiles to choose from Dynamic, Vivid, Cinema, and Natural. For image brightness aka light output, you have high or low (eco mode) to choose from. There’s also an expert setting mode to fine-tune the picture to your liking by adjusting picture brightness, color, and sharpness. For most of my viewing, I had it set on vivid and high. In a dark room, Cinema mode would be a good option if you want to get that movie theater look. The default picture profiles should satisfy most users. For audio, there is a built-in speaker that is loud enough for an office presentation or to view your local news. To take it up a notch I highly suggest connecting a Bluetooth speaker or headphones for an even more immersive viewing. Overall I’m impressed with the Epson EpiqVision it performs just as well as units that cost almost twice. For a home theater enthusiast, the lack of digital output might be a deal breaker, but for the rest of us that are fine with sound output from a soundbar or Bluetooth speaker, this should be a non-issue. Go ahead and let Epson elevate your movie-viewing experience.

I was very excited to recieve the new EpiqVision Flex CO-FHO2 because I have had the urge to move from a traditional panel TV to a projector for my main viewing source at home. Upon arrival & unpackaging the setup process if fairly simple & straightforward whether having prior experience with a projector or not. First thing to consider, I now know, is whether you will want to use a screen for your image or just project onto your wall to which there is a paint that you can apply to improve the image. I decided to invest in a screen, if doing this it is good to have the specs of the projector handy AND to go ahead & order the screen before your projector arrives so you are not waiting. The "smart streaming" aspect of this projector is basically a re-branded Chrome stick which I will say hides very nicely behind a cover which conceals all of the cords and connections. The overall setup took 10 mins to begin streaming the Ole Miss vs LSU football game, everything is easy to get going. I am overall impressed with the 3000 lumen brightness and the quality of the FHD picture, I was actually expecting a bit less. I am pleased with all of the above but there are a couple things that are preventing me from making this my full time viewing device. First and foremost is the fact that on most any projector that is less than $1500 ever comes with a DECENT audio option. If this is marketed as a home entertainment device then is it not obvious that people will want something better than the onboard speaker that is installed. WHY is there not a better audio out option so that someone can attach a soundbar or reciever, I mean it is maddening, give me a 2nd HDMI or optical connection, I just don't understand it. The second thing is that I do not see a way to install this unit to a cieling mount, huh? Finally, the unit comes with 2 remotes, one operates the projector itself and the 2nd is for the streaming stick, but neither of them will control the essential functions for both. I do NOT want 2 more remotes to keep up with. I would much rather Epson left the streaming stick out of this unit and added a better audio option and left the streaming options to the consumer. Be visionary instead of just following the crowd and adding some type of streaming "thingy" when they're a dime a dozen.

This projector has a really sharp image and super bright. I use it in my living room and sometime I even use it without closing the shades and still has perfect image. The only inconvenient I had with this product was that it doesn’t have a lot of inputs/outputs for connecting a monitor or external speakers. You only rely on Bluetooth and the only HDMI connector it has. It comes with a kind of “firestick” so you plug it in and sign up to your accounts and start using it. For me it works great since I’m only using the HDMI output.

More than enough for Indoor use

I use this indoors in a room with a small window and minimal sun light throughout most of the day. It's perfect in ambient Lighting. Even with my lamp on full next to it, the image is clear, even if it's a bit washed out. The projector is actually too birght at max settings at night time (a good problem to have). Brightness can be adjusted to fit your needs. The colors are bright and everything is legible. Dynamic setting is a bit uneasy, color is off and too bright to enjoy. But it's Cinema and Natural settings are great and all 4 settings (Dynamic, Vivid, Cinema and Natural) are all adjustable. The picture adjustment and focus capabilities are great. If you have a crooked wall, the projector provides a lot of flexibility to work around that. I play PS5 games on this with no problem, picture is great. For anyone who is thinking about making this purchase for a home cinema or gaming room, or even as a TV replacement, you are in the right place. You will not be disappointed. This works with well with indoor lighting at all levels no issues. Things I don't like: The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it only has 1 HDMI port, for this price, there should be at least 2. The Screen Size can be up to 300", I shrink it down to the lowest, but the perimeter area is still lit up around it. Not a big deal but it's noticeable. It's loud. The fan blows to keep the system cool when on regular settings. Putting it on eco mode takes away the prettiness and is just not acceptable bahaviour where I live. But the is loud and blows hot air. Maybe not the best for a hot room in the summer. It's big. It's a chunky one, you will need space for it and preferably nothing around it or on top to prevent overheating. No the height adjuster is flemsy and doesn't feel made to last; it's just cheap plastic and too lose to survive the lifetime fo the device. The remote is big, personal preference, just wish it was a tad smaller for storage reasons. The picture is clearer the bigger it is; not sure if this is projector standard, but making the picture smaller takes away some of the clarity. Settings Menu can be a bit confusing to navigate at first, it's a bit quirky. ... overall, it's great. Crazy that this price point is considered "budget" but tis how things are anymore it seems. Live a little and change up your cinema rooms! It's worth it and a fun way to get people together.

Overall, the projector is very good but has some fatal flaws. The image quality is good, but there is a bit of color separation on fine white details. This is just an inherent issue with 3LCD Projectors. The projector produces a very bright, sharp, and colorful image. 3000 Lumens is more than enough to project a 100+ inch image in a bright room. The Android TV stick works fine although I never use it. Mine is connected to an AV receiver and an Nvidia Sheild TV. There are three major issues with the projector. There's only 1 HDMI, no audio out, and the projector has no mounting holes for a ceiling mount. The first two issues are easily overcome with an AV receiver, but the lack of mounting screws means if you want to mount the projector, you'll need a shelf-style mount. The audio issues could be overcome by either using a Bluetooth speaker with the included Android TV stick, or a relatively inexpensive HDMI audio extractor. For the price ($500 on sale) and the image quality, I can't complain too much!

The Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-FH02 is an incredible choice for a do-it-all 1080p projector! It includes an Epson Android TV streaming stick that conveniently tucks away inside a compartment on the side of the projector and the HDMI & USB extenders to make it all work! The single HDMI input is very flexible with what can be connected to it and the included HDMI extender helps with managing the cabling in the I/O compartment. There is a built-in speaker that is more than capable of providing suitable enjoyment without the need for an additional sound device. The biggest drawback of the design is the lack of lens cap or cover to keep the projector's lens clean, not a huge issue with my setup as I usually cover it with a clean microfiber towel to keep dust away. The auto-keystone correction is pretty good most of the time, rarely needing to be manually adjusted and the projector remote (white one) is well labelled and laid out. The other remote (black one) is for streaming and works off Bluetooth to the streaming stick, but can also control the projector! The white remote can also control the smart features but is definitely better suited for demonstrations and meeting use. Overall, this is a fantastic project for those looking for a smaller, multi-role device that can do it all! The brightness and picture quality at all brightness levels is what truly sets this apart and you'll be more than able to see a great picture in a bright room, even if you're just projecting to a wall! Highly recommend in this price range!

Pros: - Small and Stylish - Great picture quality - LOVE the fact that it comes with the Epson stick that makes it Smart (stream everything!) Cons: - You can’t project your phone on the screen - Speakers will randomly make a screeching/buzzing sound like static and you’ll need to connect to an external audio source. We always connect to our Bluetooth speakers, so it’s not too much of an issue but still annoying - Speaking of Bluetooth, it doesn’t auto-connect to your audio source when you power it back on - This projector does not come with any holes in the back like most, so you won’t be able to hang it. We had to set up a shelf so it could sit at the right angle Overall, it's a great projector for the price!

My wife recently became the head of a state society. Over the next two years, she will travel to each of the local chapters, so we needed a solid projector that could handle any kind of lighting and distance requirements. With 3000 lumens, the display is bright no matter the location, and we have found that we can project to any size of screen It is highly portable, though we did purchase a small hard-sided carrying case. The case stores all the connection cables and the cloth that covers our portable table. It is easy to adjust the projected presentation to the screen using the controller. It is an essential piece of AV equipment when you are doing a traveling road presentation. We don't need it everywhere but we do take it everywhere (just in case).
