The projector, however, is WORTH it! It’s a dinosaur and it didn’t look like it could mount to the ceiling, but it’s on a high table now and going on the wall later and the adjustable lens position REALLY helps with the various placements. The colors are superb and the definition of the 4K is a dream. No complaints yet!

Tried the 3800 and image quality is much better. Although the image interpolation is worse on the 3800 than the 2200. I am projecting on a 150” screen. Spend the extra money and for better image quality.

Great Picture but Defective Refurbished Projector

Unfortunately the bulb would go out randomly every 30 minutes or so for about 5 seconds. I assume it's because it was refurbished and it is still not right. There should be better quality assurance before certifying a product. I brought it back and they wanted to charge me a restocking fee for 15%. I finally convinced them that it was defective and only 1 week in my possession. The waived the restocking fee but I feel like I shouldn't have to fight for that to be waived. I ultimately bought a brand new Epson 3200 and I just received it today. I hope that it will work as expected.
