Not impressed with Battery and Solar.

Battery life could still be far improved. Mine get all day sun and battery still ends up dying in about a week. They take quite a few hours to recharge on a plug. They will not fully charge in a reasonable time with Sunlight. I turned mine off in the settings and 2’days later I am only at 47% battery. Roughly 20% charge per day on Solar. Not nearly what they claim! Same issue with the S330 model. Supposed to be sending me 3 new ones. This is with settings at 2K for resolution and motion sensitivity around 7 (options are 1080 or 2k and sensitivity 1-7) Streaming is set to Auto. I had to set up motion zones to try to decrees false notification due to wind, but that has barely made a difference. Shadows, Trees and bushes will still set it off. There is no ability to do constant recording. The max is 120 seconds per motion trigger. With a 5 second cool down trigger between events. They are far better than some other name brands I have used though. Just at a higher cost.

Eufy Solar Panel Camera

Otherwise the camera is good quality and the solar panel keeps the battery charged.

Decent cameras

Cameras take a few seconds to load after you click the notification. I have them placed above my garage door.

good, not the best though

I mainly used it to keep track of who is coming and going. There is a noticeable delay between the time someone approaches and you are notified. You get what you pay for, and I am ok with this product. This is not too bad for being a wireless camera. The solar charging is working well.

My Home outside cameras.

Worked for the first couple of weeks and then...

Then into the 4th week, issues came up. Had to reset and sync the cameras a few times as they either fell off my network or couldn't connect to the network. The solar panel on one of the cameras is barely charging it. Had to dismount the camera a few times to charge it via USB. We will see how the rest of the weeks go. Hopefully better.

Has issues. Good for a year

One was replaced by Eufy for water intrusion within the 1 year warranty. Another camera now has the same issues but is out of warranty. A third, after working fine for a year has started to experience a fast draining battery despite optimal settings, Again out of warranty.

Cannot get it to connect to Wi-Fi
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I charged the eufy - Security Spotlight Cam Solar 2K for several hours, until the blue charging light went off. Then I opened the eufy security app to add a new device. Tapping the SolarCam Solar pic begins Wi-Fi setup by entering my password to the automatically selected 2.4G connection. Solor Cam only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. Pressing the sync button until a beep is heard to continue to a QR code on my phone to be scanned by the eufy - Security Spotlight Cam Solar 2K to connect to my Wi-Fi network. I then heard the message, “Connecting to the Wi-Fi network please wait.” After waiting a few minutes, I then heard, “Failed to connect to the network please try again.” I kept trying to connect, but I kept receiving the same error message. I cannot truly critique the eufy - Security Spotlight Cam Solar 2K, because of the failure to connect to Wi-Fi.

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
-Make sure you have selected " Solar SoloCam" when you add the device to the app.
-Please make sure ports 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in your router have not been disabled
-Please check if you have set the firewall or whitelist in your router
-Make sure the device is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
-Hold the "SYNC" button for 10s to reset the camera. Wait about a few minutes to add it again.
